A short little filler chapter before the big life changing Queen Mary chapter!
(Casey's POV)
"So, Jake, how have you been?" I ask with a small mischievous smile.
"I'm... fine... your smile is creeping me out a bit..." He says wearily.
"I just want you to meet someone. This is my best friend Amber. She just moved here from Connecticut and she really wanted to meet you." I say with a nod of my head.
Amber walks into the house and smiles.
(Jake's POV)
When this girl walked in I swear I almost lost my jaw.
She is gorgeous. Who is this mystery woman?
"Hi. I'm Amber." Her cheeks blush red as she introduces herself.
"Oh... oh. I'm Jake Webber. It's a pleasure to meet you." I introduce myself and take her hand in mine kissing the top of it.
What can I say? I'm a gentleman.
(Amber's POV)
Casey and I go into the living room and I whisper to her.
"Jake is super cute. I really like him."
"Oh he is a sweetheart. I think he likes you too." Casey says wiggling her eyebrows at me.
I can see us exchanging numbers.
