Jacobs imprint (COMPLETE)

My 18th birthday, just like mom promised, she signed me out of school and I told jacob I was going on a trip for awhile. Yes we are still dating. Mom had gotten me a dress that would count for an ice skaters dazzling uniform, but was something she also got on her first visit to the deep ocean. With a pack full of food I could eat underwater and a watertight water bottle, as mom had said I shouldn't be drinking the water I swim in, and dove off the cliff Jacob and I usually dive off. Once I changed I saw my dress had gradually faded like my clothes before, but the skirt made for skating was kept and floated over my tail. I kept my hair down for the journey. I travel for awhile speed swimming in order to get to what mom called the big city, she gave my a bunch of cash and said there were kiosks underwater to switch money over to mer-currency. Upon seeing the gates I smiled, it wasn't the city of Atlantis like in the books but it was still impressive. After switching money over I started visiting mermaid clothing shops, specifically for half humans for when they switch over. I got a few dresses and cute extended tops then I saw a free seminar for halflings to attend on how to find, create, and use new powers. When I visited I found a couple teens just like me and I found out some cool things I could do with the water, and how to woo an animal to ride. Upon finishing the class we each got a little pin that had a little shell with a star in it. Swimming around some more I found some shops that were for halflings to eat at, which had an airtight bubble and some dry grass to carpet on the other side. I reached through and had a nice and quick transformation, there were a lot of kids my age sitting and talking, some flirting, some making out. I had learned from mom that if two half's get together they can make a full mer-person. After getting something to eat I went to a jewelry store where they were weighted differently in order to stay pointed down instead of floating in your face. When it got dark I found a little hotel that was for halflings, I payed and stayed in the room. It got dark but not too dark, the moonlight gave a good amount of light outside. The next morning I tried on one of my new outfits and took the mermaid hair friendly hair and body wash that came with the room and the little complementary shell with the hotels logo on it. The new mermaid outfit was something like a jumper, but the legs could snap together and unsnap for when you turned. I liked how many things there were for just halflings but I also liked there were the stores and shops for full mermaids too. After diving through the bubble I liked the mermaid clothes, and decided to get another one and a float coat. As it was still early morning here the coat, which only covered to my elbows and hung open more like a shawl, didn't do too much with the temperature of the water, but I figured swimming would help get me back to normal. By the time I made it back, and made sure there was nobody around, it was lunch time and I was hungry. I made myself a sandwich and went to get a nice tan. I was already a bit tan from the sun in the water (no shade) but I wanted to get back to normal. The next few days jacob complimented me on my "stunning glow" even though the fall season was almost to its end, I had smiled and thanked him with a kiss. I noticed he had been getting stronger and buffer through the time we spent together and even though I never saw him working out I complimented him on it, told him it made him look even better.
