Travelling to Roma was tiring. I had been on the road for almost a week. I had gotten a message to meet someone in Roma. We had to stop a couple of times to rest the horses but otherwise we had been on the road constantly. It has been almost a month since my parents death. We held a funeral the week after and I stayed at my house with the hope Ezio comes back.
We finally arrived in Roma and it was as beautiful as all the painting my father bought from Leonardo Da Vinci. We road through Roma to the Collosseum where a man was waiting. "Excuse me, sir, are Rodrigo Borgia?" I asked
"Yes, and you are?" He questioned
"Katarina Marino, my father used to work for you." I said
"Yes, I remember. This way." He said walking off
I followed him through the crowds of Roma and we approached a huge house. He walked towards the door and knocked four times. The door opened and he walked in, I followed swiftly after. The house was dark and gloomy. There were servants and butlers rushing around but they had a detached look on their face. They look liked they had been forced to work in the eerie mansion. "This way, Miss Marino." He ushered me into what looked like a study.
"Sit." He said
I sat down in the hard, uncomfortable chair in front of the desk.
"I have a job I need you to complete, your father was in the middle of it before he was brutally murdered." He said in a quiet voice.
