The day ended okay, it wasn't the best day, but it was good based on how I expected it to go.

I got home and just relaxed by reading some stories on my phone and writing in my story book, something I had never showed anyone, it contained some of my biggest secrets.

But they weren't in dear diary... formats but more like a I dropped Caleb's toothbrush in the toilet and got it out without cleaning it; Lmfao no regrets, and that is actually very much true.

I wrote about how Asher had defended me, I wrote how I then realized it was a cowardly act and I shouldnt have let him defend me, because now that I think about it the entire drama club is going to be talking about how Asher Bryce defended hopelessly lost possibly depressed Jackie Belton.

I smacked my forehead in anger, how could I be so stupid!? I promised myself to not let Asher or my brothers or literally any guy try to defend me, I am a strong [well....], independent [I dont pay rent..], woman [I didn't have boobs last year..].

I ughed and sighed until I realized it sounded like I was moaning, Which I wasn't!!

Marcus opened my door curiously, "what was that?"

"What was what?"I asked him.
"The moaning...?"he responded awkwardly.

"Just me grieving over how much of a coward I am" I responded.
He rubbed the back of his neck, he was hiding something.

Before I could ask he said "dinners almost ready, mom wants you and caleb to prep the table."

He left my room without another word.
I got up and went to go get Caleb, because I was not going to make the table alone.

While we were setting up the table, I noticed he wasn't smiling or joking as usual.

"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing..."he shrugged.
"Oka-" he cut me off.
"Well actually, I know you met Jay, he's new and I'm glad he made a friend" he said.

"How do you know Jay?" I asked him curiously.
"He's on the football team" he said.

Jay, on the football team!?
Wow this world really is full of wonders.

"So how is me meeting him something to be worried about?"I asked.

"Its not..well not really, look all I know is Jay has a dirty rep with girls, and I don't want my little sister to be his next conquest, I'm not saying don't be friends, just keep your distance, please?"

"I wasn't planning on being his next conquest, you really don't trust me?"I asked.

"No no, I do! But Jackie, your body shaped itself over the summer, you went from geek to sleek real fast" he said.

I wasn't sure what that meant, also why the hell was everybody telling me this!?

Wow so maybe I gained a few pounds, maybe my hips now look like hips and not cardboard, maybe I learned to use makeup properly (creds to nick).

"If you're worried about Jay, be more worried about Asher" I said, it slipped out before I could rethink saying it.

"Asher? What did Asher do?"he asked as if to say, what do I have to do to him now?

"Well apart from being awesome and crazy hot, I defended my bub from those nasty drama geeks" a voice said behind me, I turned around to see the one and only, Asher Bryce.

"Who invited you!?"I asked sounding shocked and a bit rude.

"I did" my mom said setting a salad down on the table.
