I grabbed my bookbag and texted Jay.

Me: where are you?
Jay: outside
Me: I'm outside, near the doors
Jay: on my way

I looked around, I saw plenty of talkative teenagers, but no Jay.

I was about to text him, but I hesitated, what if I sounded annoying or what if he was just messing with me, and he really is a terrible guy and he's just tricking me, to get a laugh out of it.

All of my sudden theories were quickly proven wrong when Jay strolled over to me.

He had a leather jacket on, a white shirt underneath, a cigarette in between his lips, and he held a motorcycle helmet.

He stared down at me, "ready to go?"

I looked at him, "I'm guessing that helmet isnt for skateboarding.."

He smiled a little, "scared of a little motorcycle?"

"Yes actually, do you have any idea how many accidents have occurred in the past year, all thanks to reckless drivers!?"

"No I don't have any idea, but I also don't care, quit your fit and lets go, I'm hungry." he said, not in a demanding tone, but more like, just stop, you sound stupid, tone.

"Okay, but please be careful, I've never been on a motorcycle, it's my first time and I don't want it to be my last." I said sternly and clear.

"Relax princess, I'm a wonderful driver." He said fidgeting with the un-lit cigarette on his lips.

"What did I say about that name?" I asked.

He shrugged, "Men are superior."

I hit his arm aggressively, "ouch! Okay I'm sorry!" He yelped.

I smiled, pleased with myself.
He handed me the black helmet, "what about you?" I asked.

"Don't worry about me." He waved me off.
We were about to walk away, when somebody grabbed onto my hand.

"Where are you going?" I turned to see Caleb and Marcus.

Jay stopped too and turned around.
"Jay offered to take me out to eat." I told them.

"I don't recall being asked permission, did she ask you, Caleb?" Marcus asked, looking at me curiously.

"No, she didn't." Caleb responded.
"Bro, can't you just drop it? It's just your sister, plus we're friends, I wasn't aware I needed permission to go eat with a girl who's old enough to make simple decisions like that." Jay said annoyed.

Caleb looked at him, their hazel eyes shared a silent argument.

"Fine, but have her home before 6." Caleb decided.

Marcus opened his mouth to say something, but closed it.

Caleb walked away, "have fun!" Marcus said cheerily before walking away.

"What was that all about?" Jay asked.
I shrugged, "they're very protective, a bit too much if you ask me."

He smiled.
We made our way out of the noisy crowd of high schoolers and into the parking lot.

We didn't walk a lot, considering his motorcycle was in a handicap spot.

"I don't think handicapped people ride motorcycles, also you don't look very handicapped to me." I joked.

He rolled his eyes, "handicapped kids don't even go here."

His motorcycle was jaw dropping, from the looks of it, and by my knowledge on motorcycles, this bike was a Kawasaki Ninja h2r.
