King Philip stared at the map of his kingdom intently. There had to be riders out there. But where?

His intense things was interrupted by a knocking on his door. He called, "come in!" And hardly a second later a ball of pink bounced in.

"Philip! Darling, they're here!" Penelope called brightly. He hugged Philip tightly.

Behind her walking in Jack, May, and Lian. Jack the 12th was nowhere to be seen, presumably having gone to raid the kitchens.

Philip strode over to Jack and clapped him on the back. "Jack! I heard about to kidnappers. I plan on handsomely rewarding the gaurd that saved you. Hiw are you May?"

All at once they said,

Jack: "Philip it's not nessacary. Charm can spare a ruby for the guard."

May: "I'm fine just shaken."

Lian: "Dion said the only payment he needed was a dance with me."

Everyone choked on the drinks they didn't have.

"JILLIAN GOT A DATE?!"

Liab shrugged as if strangers asked her out every day. "Yeah so what?"

"We just...........didn't expect that," said Penelope. She and Lian had bonded over both being warrior princess. Something about feminism and sexism? "You don't seem like the ...date ... type.

Lian's eyes narrowed as she went defensive. "I bet I can get him to kiss me by the end of the night."

"What do you want to bet?"

"You wedding bouquet."

"But I promised that to May!"

"You won't break the promise if he doesn't kiss me."

A wedding bouquet was sacred. You couldn't get married withiut having caught one. May and Jack had been to tons of wedding, but May hadn't caught hers yet. That was a bad omen.

"Okay," Penelope gritted her teeth seeming sure.

"Andmine that happy note it's time for dress rehearsal." Philip grabbed Penelope and Lian's arms to stop them from all out fighting and steered toward the seamtress wing.
