Philip stood nervously by the altar. What if she didn't come? What if she didn't love him enough?
He looked at Jack, his best man, and Jack gave him a small smile before returning to fidgeting with his jacket. May caught his eye and glared, hard. Jack promptly stopped.
Just then music began and everyone went silent and stood. The bridesmaids swam in and the orchestra began to play different music. Penelope walked down the aisle, silent for once, but still smiling broadly. She was beautiful in a white gown that was undoubtedly the work of her fairy friends.

The bridesmaids and May were equally gorgeous in their pale green dresses, which matched the color scheme perfectly. The weather was perfect; you couldn't have asked for a better royal wedding.

After Philip and Penelope kissed- their flower girl and ring bearer covered each other's eyes- the whole party filtered out, at which point Jack shed the itchy jacket.
"Ah ah ah," May said, catching it before it hit the spotless floor," we still have a ball to go to."
Jack made a face but Mat was having none of it, and made him put it on anyway.

To Jack to ball was stuffy. The room seemed to small and the air to hot. The noise seemed louder than May's dragon, Theo. And Theo was LOUD. But then again parties had never been his place.
May walked toward him fighting the sea of gowns. She stood next to Jack as she grabbed a piece of cake. The wages for the chef who had made the cake were more than Jack's grandpa used to make in year. But they were royalty now and they were at a royal wedding.
A thoroughly drunk guest raised his glass sloshing beer on his wife and cried, "To King Philip and Queen Penelope!" Penelope blushed. She couldn't belive she was a queen now!
May rolled her eyes at the noble men's stupidity and opened her mouth presumably to talk (the cake was gone.) I say presumably because the moment May's mouth opened the doors to the ballroom opened with explosive force, freezing 400 guest and 29 guards.
The 30th guard, however, was unperturbed, almost as if he had been expecting exactly what happened next.
