My eyes fluttered open as I felt someone caress my cheek. I looked up and saw Dan staring at my, with tired eyes. It looked like he had been awake the whole night. I yawned before saying "Morning." making him smile.

He looked at me with such adore and caring that it made my heart melt.

Still the thought about him being a demon was in the back of my mind. I stared at him, from his hair to his neck. He was mesmerising, perfect and so.. Flawless.

It made me smile, that I had him by my side. But still some part of me said to not trust him.

His eyes were tired and I saw how he was trying to not fall asleep. "Dan.. We're you awake the whole night?"

He hummed in response and I sighed. "Why?"

"Because Gabriel is home." He whispered and before I could say anything less he kissed my lips. It was a gentle kiss.

He pulled my shirt up a bit and caressed my skin.

"You're beautiful." he whispered.

I sighed.

"You're so beautiful, Jacob." He whispered again.

I smiled at him.

Suddenly the door swung open and I flinched when I noticed the look in his eyes.

He turned around and stared at Gabriel who was smirking and just standing there. "Hello there."

I bit the inside of my cheek as I stared at Gabriel and Dan.

"Get out." Dan said.

"No, why would I? You know I heard you yesterday." He paused for a second as he stared at his nails for a second. "I thought I'd say hello to my good friend."

He smiled at me as his eyes turned yellowish.

"He's not your friend and stay away from him, I'm not letting you get close to him or be his friend. You should just be dead already, you make everyone's life so difficult!" Dan shouted to Gabriel as his eyes went darker my each word.

My hands began sweating as I kept staring at the two. My nails began digging into my palm as my breathing hitched.

"You know what Dan?! You are the one who should have never been born at all, you were a mistake. You hear me?! A MISTAKE. You're just a fucking loser, a mistake, a disappointment. I'm so sure your parents wanted to give you away, or better.. Kill you. They didn't want you.. They didn't need a rat like you who would make their life a living hell... I heard your father the other day... He said he was disappointed.. And he said he hated you.. Dan, its not me.. Its you... It has always been you! " Gabriel roared, but he wasn't even done.

" No one EVER blames you! It's always my fault, only mine. They never blame you, cause you're always the innocent one. Remember when we were playing outside? When you stole your father's gun from the shed.. And you blamed me. They BELIEVED you. After that no one believed me! I bet you're going to kill your father soon enough, and me.. And EVEN Jacob.. You're an animal, A MONSTER!" Gabriel kept screaming as I listened to his every word carefully.

I didn't even know what to think anymore.

Before I knew it, Dan was running towards Gabriel. It all happened way too fast as a loud ring sounded in my ears.

Tears filled my eyes as i saw Gabriel punching Dan.

I stood up as my legs shook under me. "N-No, D-Dan.. Please s-s-stop.." I sobbed and tried to grab Gabriel, but Gabriel only pushed me away as I stumbled back.

Dan pushed Gabriel off of him and pushed him down on the floor. "YOU FUCKER! Liar! I hate you! Why did you come into my life you fucking bastard!" Dan kept shouting as he flew punches in Gabriel's face.
