Chapter 26

Jess rang the doorbell. Luke paused the game and went to the door.
"Hey Jess." Luke said.
"Hi Luke I'm here to take over for you, where is everyone?"
"Liam's in his room where we've been playing on the PlayStation, Louis is bathing Niall and Zayn is with Harry."
"Oh okay, did they have a good night?" Jess asked.
"Liam was fine slept most of the night but Harry had quite a tough one." Jess nodded and followed Luke into where she guessed was the twins room. "Alright Liam I'm going to be going I'll be back in a couple of days."
"What we are in the middle of a game." Liam whined and then caught sight of Jess.
"Oh hey."
"Hi Liam, you know I'm quite good at playing video games myself I grew up with 3 brothers." Liam smiled and then waved bye to Luke.
"I'm glad I'm so easily replaced. I'm going to tell Louis and Zayn that I'm leaving and you're here." "Yeah okay. Oh one thing Luke when did you last take Liam's temperature." Jess asked.
"Oh he needs that checking, it was on the verge of being to high and needing medicine about 30 minutes ago." Jess nodded and said she would do it letting Luke say goodbye to the rest of the family.

Jess took liams temperature.
"Alright Liam I'll give you some meds as your temperatures at that point now and then we're play a couple of games on the PlayStation." Liam nodded not really fussed and let Jess insert the medicine before they carried on with the game with Jess taking Luke's place. Jess actually beat Liam in the game.

Luke knocked on zayn and Louis bedroom door. "Wait a couple of minutes." zayn called as he comforted Harry while changing him.
"Its Luke, Jess has arrived i'm of now." Luke called out.
"Bye." Zayn called out.

"Alright Ni, I think it's time to get out." Louis said after he finished washing Niall's hair.
"No." Niall said.
"If you don't get out then who am I meant to play trains with?" Louis questioned and Niall quickly lifted his arms so Louis could get him out. He liked playing with his ducks but his trains were his favourite. Louis dried and dressed niall before taking the boy to the play room.

Zayn finished changing Harry and got him comfortable back in bed.
"Do you want anything?" Zayn asked.
"Cuddles." Harry asked.
"Course." Zayn said as he led down next to Harry. Harry snuggled into his papa who gave the boy a tummy rub.

"Okay Ni, I won't be long but I need to go and shower and get dressed myself. Once I'm done I'll come and play with you." Louis told the boy who nodded far to interested in pushing his trains along the floor. Louis made sure the baby gate was closed so Niall couldn't get out and then made his way to his room to get some clothes that he can wear after his shower. When he walked in he smiled sadly at Zayn seeing Harry snuggled into him clearly still in pain.
"Is he alright?" Louis asked and Zayn nodded.
"He will be." Louis nodded and collected some clothes.
"I'm going to have a shower then entertain Niall for a bit." Louis said.
"Alright, oh and Luke's gone and Jess is here." Harry said.
"Alright I'll go and say hello to her and then jump in the shower." Louis said as he grabbed his clothes. "Okay I'll see you later." Louis nodded and ruffled Harry's curls before heading over to the twins room.

"Hi guys." Louis said popping his head in.
"Hey dad." Liam said desperately trying to beat Jess as he wasn't getting beaten twice.
"You okay?" Louis asked.
"Yep." Liam replied.
"Hi Louis." Jess said and Louis waved.
"Alright I'm going to jump in the shower and then I'll be in the playroom with Niall if either of you need me." They both nodded far to focused on the game to hold a conversation.

Niall made a huge mess in the playroom.

Louis went and had a nice hot shower.

Zayn comforted Harry who needed another nappy change. He got the supplies and changed it. "Toilet papa" Harry whimpered.
"Dad is in the shower now after." Zayn explained. Harry sighed and let Zayn change him in the bedroom.
"Can I have a bath once dad is finished." Harry asked. "
"Yeah course love." Zayn agreed and quickly finished changing Harry. Harry then snuggled into his papa.
