Chapter 24

Today I am I week late from my dew date with the twins. It is getting really hard to walk and I basically need help duing everything. It kind of gets annoying. I wake up with a terrible pain in my back wich makes me wince in pain and that wakes up Maxon. Great.

" Good morning. Are you ok?" he askes

" yeah just some pain in my back" I say. He gives me a kiss and then he stand up. He helps me stand up and he kisses my belly.

" soon our two precious angels will be here" I heed to my room so that my maid can help me change. I put on a knee length maternity dress that is really pretty and my maid do my hair and makeup. Once I am ready I head back to his room were he is waiting for me. He helps me downstairs and when we are nearly there he blindfolds me and I ask

" Maxon what are you doing"

" I have a surprise for you" he says

" can you tell me please" I whine

" If I tell you it is no longer a surprise" I sigh and he laughs. When we stop he takes my blind fold off and I gasp. Mt whole family is here plus Marlee Carter and her son Kyle who has gotten along really well with Astra.

" Ames" May yells. she rans up to me and hugs me. I hug her back and when we let go I see a boy that I don't know who he is next o her

" and who are you?" I ask

" I am Jack. I am May's boyfriend" awww May has a boyfriend. This is not her first but still it is cute.

" Well hi Jack" I say. I can see May flushing and I give her a kiss on the cheek as I proceed to say hi to the rest of my family. We all sit down and we have breakfast talking and catching up with each other. After we are done the Men head to the eating room and the Women head to the Women's room. We get there and my mom helps me sit on the couch.

" So May. How long have you and Jack been dating" Marlee says wiggling her eyebrows. May blushes and we all laugh.

" Well we have been dating for a month" I smile at her and she smiles back. 

" How are you with the baby Ames" May askes

" I am good only that it is becoming really uncomfortable now that they are late by a week"

" A week!" they all exclaim

" yeah but they will probably come soon" For the rest of the time we spend time talking and having fun until I feel a sharp pain in my stomach and I wince.

" Yeah I am fine" and then I fell wet underneath me.

" OH MY GOSH. AMES YOR WATER JUST BROKE!" Marlee shouted. Before I could react everyone was already helping me to get to the hospital and set me on a bed. Once I am settled I get my first contraction and I yell out in pain. May leaves running and all I can ask is for Maxon to get here. NOW.

Maxon POV-

We left breakfast and all of the men head to the meeting room. Once we were there we all sat down and I asked

" So Jack how long have you been dating May" 

" For a month" he says 

" And are you treating her well" The king asked

" I can answer that" gerared says. Jack turns to Gerard giving him a look but gerared only laughes and says

" He guves her chocolates, he takes her on romantic dates, he send her notes. May is always smiling now and he is always holding her hand. I caught them kissing the other day" Gerard says while doing some sort of girly movment. Jack"s eyes widen and flushes
