"Don't Leave Me"

Jaciell's POV:

I opened my eyes to see a creamy white ceiling staring at me.

Where am I?

I try to Stand up but can't, and i wince at the immediate pain i feel, I look around to see an IV machine and other needles and things connected and on me.

A hospital..?

I looked to my side to see someone holding my hand while resting his face on my thigh...

I recognized the person, that Melly, and his light cute snores.

"M-Melly?" i hoarsely whisper through the breathing mask i had on, I clear my throat as much as i can without hurting it anymore then it already was and try to speak again.

"Melly?" I call out a lil louder, seeming to do the trick his head flies up to my direction.

"Jaciell?" He speaks in disbelief as he sees my brown eyes opened.

He moves his chair closer to me. "How you feeling?" He asked in concern.

"Dead."

"Your not. thank god." He sighed in relief. "You member what happened to you?"

"I don't know.." I sighed, "Maybe it'll come back to you,"

He put his hands on his face and rubbed it, gently but you could tell it was out of frustrating.

"I thought i lost you." He mumbles,

I turn my hand over so my palm is visible, and gesture for him to grab it.

"I'm here." I smiled,

"Don't leave me, Jaciell. I been having a rough day, i don't need no more surprises."

"I don't plan too, Jamell."

the nurse walks in with her clipboard and smiles when she sees me, "Miss Rivera, glad to see your up! So, my name is Laura i'm your nurse." She chirps,

"So how are you feeling?" She asks while checking the needles and my heart monitor, "Dead." i simple speak, she chuckles, "Are you in any pain?"

"Everything hurts." She looks at as if to continue, so i did. "I can barely move or everything hurts more, does anybody know what happened to me?" I added,

"Well, paramedics were called to a car crash, with—"

Before she finishes i cut her off short, due to remember what went down...

"They tried to lit my ass up." I say in disbelief,

"Um, basically yes...There were many bullet hole trajectories," She stated looking at me, "How many hit me?"

"Uh," She said while looking down at her papers skimming through it, "three and two skinned you."

I widen my eyes letting her words sink in, I turn to Melly who whose rubbing his temples. "How many in the car?" I ask her,

"Well, five on the drivers side and about five on the backseat." She replies, "I'm going to bring you some medicine for the pain, if you need anything or remember anything press the button to call me ok?"

"okay.." With that being said she walked out the room,

Besides the machine beeping, silence held the room thickly.

I wonder what he's thinking about...

"Penny for your thoughts?" I say trying to brighten up the mood, "This is all my fault."
