Idina's POV:
Gah! Stupid car! It just HAD to honk right at the moment we were about to kis- wait a minute... Idina pull yourself together girl! I went home and got ready for tonight. I was hoping no one will show up except for James and I.
"Mommy!" Walker yelled as he saw me.
"Hey Swirl!" I said picking walker up into my arms.
"Can we play with my dinosaurs?"
"No I'm sorry sweetie Mommy has to go out tonight. but I promise I will tuck you into bed and read you a story before the babysitter gets here." He nodded and gave me a big hug. I put him down and he ran away to play with his dinosaurs. When the babysitter arrived her to help herself to the chips and sodas we have in the cupboard. Before I left I tucked him in and read him a Story. I drove to the restaurants saw James, LaChanze, Anthony and Jenn. I sighed out of sadness as I walked over.
"Hey guys, how are you?"
" Good, you?" Jenn said.
"Good." I sat down and we ordered dinner. We laughed and talked all night! I had a lot of fun. Jenn left because she need to go home to her girlfriend, who had recently gotten a bad cold. LaChanze left after her because of her kids. then Anthony left a few minutes later for no reason in particular so it was just James and I! James and I... I like that sound of that. We just sat there in an awkward silence.

James' POV:
"So-um- how is your son?" I asked, breaking the uncomfortable quietness.
"He's in bed. How's yours?"
"Good, good. "
"Cool."
We stared at our food for a couple minutes when this time Idina broke the silence. "So, James, about today-"
"I know, I know, I probably added plenty of stres-"
"No, no, it's just- I don't- this is-"
I stood up from my chair and gave her a hug.
"James, I-I uh- I-" She sounded distressed.
"It's okay Idina, if you want to forget what almost happened today we can pretend it never happened. What? Where am I?" Idina laughed at my silliness. Oh Idina, if only I had the courage to tell you how I feel.
