TRIS POV-
I watch the Ferris wheel in awe. It's so pretty. The lights change colors as the carts move with the wheel.
I turn around to ask Tobias how he got it to move without pushing the button, if he had someone do it for him, but when I turn around,he's not there.
I look in shock. What?!? Why would he just leave? That's when I see a small piece of paper and rose. I pick it up and read it:
Dear Tris,
I know I just left without warning, but don't worry. Come find me! Here's a hint: 360 degrees of horses. Good luck!
Love, Tobias.
I look around. I don't see anything until something catches my eye. The carousel. Of course, he wasn't saying turn 360 degrees, he was saying that the horses turn 360 degrees.
I look around and at first, I see nothing. That's when I see a rose lying next to a black horse with a few chips in its paint. I pick up the rose with the note stuck to it.
Dear Tris,
Good job figuring out my riddle. See if you can figure out my next. Here's another hint: the ride is fun and the jump is exhilarating. See you soon.
xoxo, Four.
I fold the note and grab the rose in my other hand. At first I think of he zip line, but then I remember Tobias has never been zip lining, so that can't be it.
I jump off the carousel ready to think. Then I hear a cranking noise. The I turn around and see the carousel is moving.
The light blares like the Ferris wheel in the night sky. I smile. That's when it hits me. The train. He must want me to go further.
I run up to the train tracks to see that the train has stopped. That's weird. It usually never stops, only Max can control that.
I try thinking hard about which cart to jump in. Then I remember that he wrote his nickname Four instead of Tobias so I decide to check the fourth cart.
As soon as I jump on, the train starts moving. That's when I see a note and a rose in the corner if the cart.
