TOBIAS POV-

We sat there in my bed for what felt like forever, and I liked that. Tris fell asleep around midnight, but I stayed awake staring at the bruise on her neck.

I doesn't look that bad. But yet again, it's pretty dark in hear. There was only a faint, red, glowing light coming from my alarm clock.

I don't know when I fell asleep, but I did.

I woke up at 2 in the morning, due to some yelling outside of my apartment door. I'm used to it. It happens a lot.

Once, this one guy was screaming at this other guy because he was setting off fireworks, off the roof of the building, at 11 o'clock at night, on a Tuesday. But the guys outside my apartment were really loud.

I got up, surprised Tris was still asleep, but I remember I am a very light sleeper. I stand up and walk into my living room.

I am ready to open my door and scream at them until they go away, but I don't want to wake Tris. They are getting louder and louder and I can't take it anymore.

I hear "IN WHAT WORLD WOULD SLEEPING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND BE OKAY?" I hear one guy yell.

"DUDE IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. SHE DIDNT TELL ME SHE HAD A BOYFRIEND!"

"Whatever just get the hell away from me!"

And then they stop yelling. Thank God. I start walking back to the bedroom but I see Tris sitting at the end of the bed.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"I..."she pauses, "I don't know. I had a weird dream and when I woke up, you weren't there, and the thing and my neck is still bugging me. Not painfully just, thinking about people seeing it tomorrow just bugs me." She explains.

"It is tomorrow." I say trying to sound clever. "Shut up."

"Go back to bed." I tell her. "Only if you go back to sleep too." She says, sounding sheepish. "That's why I came in here."

I jump back into bed, but I don't fall asleep, I just stare at my ceiling until I hear my alarm clock go off.
