My brother knocked on my door impatiently and started shouting at me to hurry up. I shouted back that I would be down in a minute. I stared at my suit and beamed at myself in the mirror.

Ten long minutes later, I had put my suit on, brushed my short hair and put some highlighter on, thanks to my sister. I hate makeup, but she forced me to use some. Ash was waiting outside and his jaw dropped when he saw me.

"Wow, sis. Bold choice." I'm guessing he was talking about the fact that I had a bright red bow tie and I had temporarily dyed my hair the same colour. I called Charlotte down so she could take pictures and she had the same reaction as Ash. I giggled and ordered her to take the pictures.

Once finishing, we hopped into the car and drove to school, arm in arm. We could hear music from a block away but it got louder the closer we got.

We made it to the entrance and the first thing I noticed was the gym, which was covered with blue and white decorations, large blue ribbon hanging from the roof. Pictures of Jason Blossom hung from all places; the ceiling, sides of the gym and some just even sitting there. I let my brother take off to meet his friends but immediately regretted it, my hands started shaking and clamming up. My thoughts distracted me as I stared at Jason in his football uniform.

I feel sorry for Cheryl, she may be rude, but this is crazy. Her brothers' face is everywhere and I couldn't imagine the pain she is in; if I lost one of my siblings, I would want to die.

The song finished and the next started playing just as loud. I looked around and spotted Archie walking in with Betty to his left, wearing a bright pink dress and her hair neatly curled. Veronica held onto his right arm, wearing a purple and grey strapless dress with roses all over it.

What a lucky man.

Veronica left after whispering something to Betty who kindly waved at me before letting Archie walk away. Kevin stopped her in her tracks and told her about Moose in the bathroom and something about a body (blah blah blah) horse like. Betty made an uncomfortable face but Kevin just beamed down at her.

I shifted my attention to the stage, which now was accompanied by a red head wearing the most gorgeous bright red dress, which magically matched my hair and tie. I chuckled at that thought and payed attention when she started talking.

"As honorary chairperson and de facto queen of tonight's semi-formal, it is my great pleasure to introduce this evening's main entertainment. To know them, is to be obsessed with them." I zoned out to her voice, ignored what she said next, and just stared at her with my mouth slightly hanging open. Kevin noticed this and sneakily closed it before Cheryl finished her introduction. "I give you; Josie and the Pussycats"

The crowd erupted into applause and I joined in, but my eyes followed the red head as she walked off.

We all grabbed a partner but I missed Kevin because Veronica had stolen him before I had gotten the chance. I watched as Archie grabbed Beth by the waist and they started talking. I looked at Beth and took in her looks. She was a tall girl with dark, brown hair that reached half way to her waist, her thin body being covered by a navy blue dress. The dress covered the top of her shoulders and fell down to her knees.

After a few moments, I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to face the mysterious person. My mouth flew open and butterflies flew around in my stomach as I saw who it was. Cheryl Blossom.

"Want to dance?" She asked with a hint of something in her voice, but I couldn't figure out what it was. I stared up at her and felt my head threaten to twitch but I kept it in, and then nodded nervously. She noticed that I was nervous and flirtatiously shifted my hair out of my face and wrapped her arms over my shoulders and around my neck.

I hesitantly placed my hands on her hips while closing my eyes and taking in everything around me. After a few moments, I could feel Cheryl shift closer to me as we swayed together causing my butterflies to worsen, but I ignored it and continued.

She is amazing, her body, her face, those lips... Wait, what are you doing? I felt my eyes shift to her bright red lips. She caught me and lifted my face up before placing my hands tighter around her and shifting even closer so that our bodies almost touched. She rested her head on my shoulder and then instead of dancing, hugged me tightly. I felt my body tense up but then relax as I put my arms around her, letting her invade my personal space.

I heard the music finish and was about to step away, when Cheryl didn't move from my arms and just squeezed me tighter, I rubbed her back and hugged into her which then caused her to move away and wipe her eyes. Please, don't leave me.

I noticed her makeup a little smudged and stared at her with concern. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked and she nodded. I was about to touch her arm, when her face suddenly changed and she slapped my hand away from her.

"Don't touch me, dyke," she snapped and turned around sharply, slapping me in the face with her long hair. I stood there, frozen. What did I do?

"What was that all about?" A voice, which I recognized to be Veronica's, asked from behind me. I turned to face her, shock still present on my face, and shook my head. She shrugged and pulled me into the crowd, dancing. I took in my surroundings and began to feel the music thump with my heart. I followed Veronica's moves and we started jumping up and down together, later to be joined with Beth, Archie, Kevin and Betty.

Beth had to leave soon after a few songs finished. We all said our goodbyes, Archie giving her a kiss, which then turned into a small make out session, afterwards returning to the dance floor.
