So, this trip down memory lane has made me think about what I used to do when I was younger and had more free time to explore in a creative sense.  The past few years, homework and work has consumed me, and I've really started to specialize in learning Spanish at a high intensity.  In the past seven years, a lot has changed, and I don't like that I've had to sacrifice reading and writing for homework and studying in university.  I've begun to read more, with mild success, and reflecting on my writing heydays has got me thinking about starting back up again.  I've always loved creating new characters and describing situations, and I definitely miss that free-flow.  Across five years of high school and college combined, I have had only two assignments, TWO, where I had could free write.  I want to change my writing habits, and for the better.

So, I guess I'm asking if you're interested in sending me an idea for a story, or just something you'd like me to write about.  I like the idea of requests and having a specific audience in mind, even if it's just for one person.  I'm also toying with the idea of uploading and translating short reflections about what I've experienced in the past few months, since those have been the only non-academic freewrites I've had in a while.  I really enjoy just losing myself in my thoughts about a topic, and I didn't know if you'd like to hear my take on random things that have made me really think lately.  Comment and let me know what you think.
