Avas POV

I had to time jump to the wave rider because I needed to have a quick word with Captain Lance.

"Sara!" Ava screams.
"What can I do for you today director Sharpe" Sara responds jokingly.
"I need an update on all of the anachronisms you have caught, as well as the update on Mullace."
"Not much has changed on Mullace and not many anachronisms have appeared it's been quiet," replied Sara.

That conversation went on for a little while longer, but all I could think about was how hot Sara looked in that outfit. What am I doing I can't think that way I'm a clone I have no emotion.

Sara's POV

Damn Ava looks hot in that Time Bureau suit that she's required to wear. All I want to do is kiss her and call her mine, but who could love a loveless assassin. I walk back to my bedroom and lay down thinking about how I screwed things up between Ava and I and that I wish I could fix them.

But it was more complicated than that, all Ava believes is that I can't love her because she's a clone. But I do I love her so damn much it hurts to breathe but how do I tell her that.

Narrator's POV

Sara and Ava bumped into each other on the wave rider while Ava was trying to leave. But before she could leave Ms. Lance grabbed Director Sharpe's arm and pulled her close. Sara put one hand up to Ava's face then kissed her slowly but passionately.

After the kiss was over Ava questioned what the Captain was doing. The Captains response was, "Admitting something that could save us both. I love you."

With that comment Ava says, "There is no me to love." Then walks away, while leaving Sara in the dust.
