Violet got up from her bed, stretching... she checked the clock, 11:45...
fucking Louis.. he wanted to go for a walk, he was bringing Aasim with him, and already asked Clem beforehand... she said she would go.
Violet sighed, looking at her notifications... seeing as they already started making their way to the meeting place.
She quickly grabbed a sweater and put on some shoes, as she sneaked out the window, jumping down to the ground.
Violet was used to sneaking out... it becomes a habit if you have a drunk dad...

Clementine, Louis and Aasim were already there, Violet is usually late... so it was no surprise to the three of them.
it was around 11:56 when Violet finally showed up.
"Jeez, Vi, took ya long enough, didn't it?" Louis asked, a smile on his face.
Violet sighed, "Aren't I always late though?" she questioned, Louis, nodded "Yeah... a fair point I suppose.." he muttered.
Clementine pushed herself off the pole she was leaning against, walking over to them.
"Alright, you guys, which trail are we taking today?" she asked, looking at the few trails that they had to choose from.
Aasim pointed to his right, "There's one trail down there. we haven't checked it out yet, surprisingly."
Violet nodded, "Sounds like a plan, let's go." she said before walking in that direction.
The four started walking towards the woods, Louis took his bag off of his back, taking out a couple of flashlights, "Here.." he said handing one to Violet.
She turned it on, pointing it in front of her, "Y'know, it's actually not that cold out tonight.." Clementine said looking up at the sky.
"You're right, the stars are actually out tonight... don't see that very often." Aasim said, looking at the sky for a second, before looking where he was going.
"Now let's just hope we can have a peaceful little walk." Violet said, looking at Louis, pretty much hinting towards him being quiet.
He got the message and put his hand in his heart, "Wow... thanks Vi, i appreciate you as well." Louis said a small smile making its way to his face.
Clementine shook her head, turning into the trail that they agreed to go on.
"Alright you guys, now we have to be careful, we don't know what is gonna be down this trail." Clementine said in a quiet, but serious voice.
Violet nodded in agreement, not saying anything.
"Sounds like a plan." Aasim said, taking the lead.

At some point down the line, Aasim and Louis had an idea.
"Hey guys, Aasim and i have been talking... do you wanna split up?" Louis said, a smirk on his face...
"Are you serious?" Clementine asked, raising her eyebrow.
Aasim stepped into the conversation, "Yes, we're very serious... Louis and i.. well, we want to go alone for a bit... if y'know what i mean.." Aasim explained, hoping the two of them would agree.
"Don't worry, we'll text you when you get back home." Louis reassured.
Violet sighed, "Just let them go have their fun, we can continue walking the trail for a bit." She said, putting her hand on Clementine's shoulder.
"Okay... yeah, fine... but if something happens to you guys. it's on you." Clementine said seriously.
"Alright, yeah... we know, see you guys later!" Louis said before grabbing Aasim's hand and running off into another direction.
"Well... i guess we should keep walking now?" Violet asked more than really said.
Clementine looked at her and sighed, "Yup... we do.."
It was quiet for the most part, it wasn't an awkward silence, more of like.. a peaceful, just listening to nature.
That was when Clementine spoke up.
"I literally can't believe they ditched us just to go do... the devils tango.." She mumbled.
Violet looked at her and sighed, "Its okay, if they get eaten by a bear, definitely not our fault." She joked.
a small smile made its way to Clementine's face, "Oh i know.." she said, looking over a Violet.
"At least i got you.." Clementine whispered, stopping in her tracks.
Violet also stopped, her eyes widened trying to process what she just said.
"Uh.. what.. what's that supposed to mean?" Violet hesitated to say.
Clementine smiled, slowly getting closer to Violet.
"I think it means... i'm happy you actually agreed to come along, and not ditch us first thing.." Clementine said seriously.
Violet let out a deep breath, looking at the ground, flashlight still in her hand.
"I mean... in reality, i only really came along because you were going.." Violet admitted, still looking at the ground.
Clementine took another step closer, grabbing Violet's free hand, this caused Violet to actually look up at Clementine.
She was unable to form any sort of words, so she just stood there, waiting for what was going to happen next.
"It was just supposed to be Louis, Aasim and i... but, i asked multiple times if they could ask you to come along as well.." Clementine said in a low voice.
Violet looked down at the ground again, not wanting to embarrass herself.
"Hey... come on don't be like that, i'm trying to be serious here.." Clementine said, lifting Violets face up, so she was looking at her.
"i-i don't understand why you're being serious though..." Violet managed to say.
"It's because.. well, i like you... plus.. i was hoping you might like me back.. that's why i'm being serious." Clementine said, she literally had zero boundaries, Clem was just going for it.
Violet stood there, thinking about her next move, she clearly liked Clementine back.. but she didn't know how to- bingo.
Violet leaned in and planted a soft kiss on Clementine's lips, of course it was unexpected.. but Clementine ended up kissing her back.
They slowly pulled away from each other, a smile on Violet's face.
"Does that answer your question?" Violet asked.
Clementine nodded, "Yeah.. it really does.."
"Come on... lets make our way back home now.." Violet said, turning around... she was still holding Clementine's hand as well... i think they both honestly forgot.
"Yeah... okay.." Clementine mumbled, clearly shocked on what just happened, she didn't expect it... that's probably why..
And so that's how the night walk went... into a confession split little night.
