I shot up out of my bed. I awoke to a cold sweat and a white room. Never how I remembered it. I tried to move my hands for some feeling as I tried to regain conciseness. I felt a cotton cloth under my fingers and instantly shot my hands from the sheets that cover my body. My hands were still there and I could still feel my feet so they were all in check. I was still alive and waking up slowly. I swung my feet from out under the covers. I stood up ever so slowly and looked around. No bookshelves or windows. I walked over and touched the wall. It was also white along with the rest of the room. I felt the cold texture of the brick and cement mixed together. My olive hands spread out against the cold surface. It didn't match the temperature of my hands which were hot surprisingly. I looked down at my self and noticed that I was wearing a black zip up jumpsuit. I looked under it and noticed that I still had my street clothes on. I was safe for now but how long would that last?

I'm pacing back and forth through my room. My brain flying with in formation. Almost faster then my brain can think. Why am I here? What have I done wrong? As almost an answer to my thoughts an overhead intercom went off sending the sound waves bouncing off my all to square room. "Welcome to the Guardian Academy, you will be learning alot from here. Maybe even a little more then you already know about yourselves. We will take good care of you over the course of your stay ",the loud woman boomed. "You were brought here for a special reason and purpose and even though some may be oblivious to it, you will learn so much. We welcome you once again and breakfast will be in ten minutes, thank you." Special purpose? What on earth is that supposed to mean? I threw my body on the bed and looked up at the dull gray ceiling. With nothing left to do I was getting very bored quickly. Well at least I have a window. I quickly hopped out of my bed and looked out the window and what I saw was nothing I ever expected to see in my life.
