"John..." I say. "You can't kick me out of my own house"
He just ignores me and continues to throw my stuff out. I was just standing outside trying to catch what he threw.
Then he threw my laptop. I ran and caught it before it hit the ground and felt a car speed past me. I looked back at John.
On a scale of 1 to 10 of how pissed I was, I was at a 15.
"Are you trying to get me killed?!" I shout while holding on to my laptop like my life depended on it.
John just looked at me and stormed out the house, probably to laf and Herc's apartment.
Welp, i was right. He hates me. Not my fault he cant handle the truth though. He knew we weren't soulmates, and still overreacted when i broke up with him.
Speaking of soulmates... I grab my stuff and walk back in my house, closing the door behind me. I sat down on the couch, grabbed a marker and started writing on my arm.
Just had a bad break up. Hows life?
Yikes. Got yelled at by some guy at work.
Wow. The guy sounds like a jerk
Yeah, the whole idea of you being matched with some random person in the world sounds bogus. Then theres the fact that you can talk to them just by writing on your arm which sounds even less possible.
But it turns out both of those things happen some magical way.
Do you think I believe it? Nope. I believe unicorns are more real than you being destined to be with someone. (The fact that Scotland's national animal is a Unicorn. Google it)
I hear a knock at the door. I wonder who it is.
Can't be John because why would he come back?
Actually, probably none of my friends. Only one way to find out. I open the door.
"Oh. Hey Eliza." I mutter.
"I heard about what happened" she says.
"How? That literally happened like an hour ago"
"Angelica. But since you knew John isnt your soulmate, maybe-"
I cut her off. "No"
"But-"
" 'liza, we've been over this. John's not my soulmate. YOU'RE not my soulmate. And neither is Angelica. So stop... Stop acting like that'll change"
She sighs before leaving. Geez, can't a guy get a break?
