Chapter 4 | I Wasn't Ready...

~Aʟɪsᴛᴇʀ's POV~

Today was a good day of training. The sun was out, as bright as it wanted to not really inflicting any pains on us at all.

The boys and I, headed towards the backyard where we could practice till our hearts content. One good thing about having a mansion in the woods, is having no one to bother you- or in our situation no one to see us use our powers.

"M-master..." I heard a cute faint voice calling my name. I looked down to see it was Caleb, rubbing his hands together in  an embarrassing motion.

"Yes? What is it?"

"I don't thing t-this is working... My powers aren't coming out like you said, Master." Caleb gave me this adorable face expression.

I grabbed his hands, and gave him a smile. "Practice makes perfect, love remember that."

He gave me a smile, but I know he was somewhat still disappointed in himself. Honestly, I didn't think I was ever gonna find my mate in this world, but I guess the queen blessed me with this bundle of cuteness, and I couldn't ask for more.

"Master! The Alex and Liam are fighting again!" I jerked my head to the sounds of rough- housing and grunts going on behind me.

Indeed, my boys was fighting each other yet again, for the third time today. Taking my gaze to, Caleb he was somewhat shaking in his boots. This is his first time seeing two fully grown vampires going at it with each other. Though, you might think they are fighting, but this is what we call "sparing" with each other.

"Alright, boys! It's time to stop playing around, and come here." I demanded.

Alex and Liam decided to ignore my calls, and continue to spare with each other. I sighed, putting my fingers on my forehead in frustration. I decided to remind who was their Master and why you shouldn't disobey me.

Channeling all my energy, I let my sent come out. This is extremely horrible for the "children" whenever they are being bad, or just begin disobedient like this.

"Okay, okay we give!"

"Yeah, you can stop with the abuse Alister."

I smirked at their comment. "It's not abuse, it's simply discipline- remember that."

Lucky for them, I didn't use all my power on them. That little show- was just a taste of what I could do, which they wouldn't want. I could spread my ora like two football fields combined making it very deadly for weak, or fragile vampires.

Basically, what I'm trying to say... they could literally die in amount of minutes, if exposed to a Master vampire. That's why... I'm trying my hardest to keep, Caleb safe because I know the dangers.

"That's enough training for one day, Alex and Liam go ahead on." I gave them my knowing look. The boys gave me a nod, then quickly disappeared into the house.

It was just me and Caleb all alone outside. Once the boys left, my first instinct was to grab him and hold him tight. But knowing myself, he would probably freak the f*ck out and run away, so I decided on a more easy approach.

"Caleb." His name rolled off my tongue so smooth.

"Y-yes Master." He looked away shyly. His ears was starting to turn red from embarrassment, which was actually cute. 

"I want you to know that, it's okay that you didn't summon your powers today. Did you forget that you're a fledgling? You have to have time and get to know your powers."
