~~ALISTER'S POV~~
After what felt like hours, and hours of trying to maintain a fledgling vampire, who just so happens to be your mate - this was nothing compared to what I've been through for all these years!
....okay I'm lying! Fighting the urge not to literally force yourself on top of a semi-unconscious vampire in heat is really hard believe it or not. Nonetheless, I succeed and afterward, I left my chambers so Caleb could get some sleep.
His transformation was going well. Turning a new person into one of your kind always takes a while to get used to. In the beginning, they would sleep for hours and only get up when needed to feed, and then go back to sleeping like the dead - well technically yes in these circumstances. I made my way back downstairs where Alex and Liam were waiting for me. Of all the times my family wanted to visit... NOW is not one of them.
Walking into the living room, I was immediately tackled in a big embrace by none other than my twin Kiara. This wasn't the first time I was tackled like this, and I'm sure this won't be the last either.
"Hello, Kiara how are you twin?" I asked while undoing her uncontrollable strength of hugs.
"Hehe, Hiiiiii! I'm doing great, duh dummy! How's my twin doing, hmm? I heard from the boys you found someone special." Kiara does a cheeky smirk towards the boys knowing I'll stare daggers into them later.
"Oh really now... But yes this is true. They are very special."
"So where they at then? You're gonna keep them to yourself, and not show your siblings, baby brother." It was Evian that spoke out. One thing to know about my older sister is that she gets what she wants with no questions asked.
"Yeah! Let's see this mystery person already, I have other things to do." Of course, Stephen being his charming self as ever opened his big mouth.
I got enough of their questions, but really I'm annoyed at Liam and Alex for spilling my business. They really had no right to go and blabber to my older siblings that I found my mate. I like to keep my personal life calm and have no interruptions from nosey people like my siblings for this exact reason.
Making a note in my head to punish the boys later.
I simply said; "they can't come down right now they're sleeping." I told them. I wasn't lying for once whenever I make excuses to my siblings. Also doesn't help that Caleb is still, and I MEAN literally still in heat for christ's sake. Sure I may have locked him inside my room from prying eyes, but actually, it's also because of Stephen.
My dear and loving brother will gladly and swiftly take MY Caleb away from me, and wouldn't even bat an eyelash afterward. Stephen has a type of man he likes to bring back to his bedroom and sleep with, and I wouldn't be surprised one glance at Caleb he'll try and do something.
"Okay fine. I guess today was a bad time, we'll see you next time Alister and also reply back to Mother and Father, will you? I'm tired of them asking me about it." Evian said. I nodded my head and told her yes I understood.
Although their trip was short, it was still nice to see the family since it's been a minute since the last time I will admit. Though, I still think about what would have happened if they did meet Caleb tonight... would things have gone differently, would Stephen have tried something on Caleb? These questions will never know until the next visit I suppose.
For now it's back to work and checking up on my mate. I gave Kiara a hug goodbye, as I just waved at Stephen and Evian back. Their not really onse for family touches anyways so this was enough.
"Now then... you two are in big trouble!"

HEYYYYY! BACK WITH ANOTHER UPDATE WITH Y'ALL. I'M GONNA BE HONEST I WASN'T REALLY FEELING AN UPDATE TONIGHT, BUT I WANTED TO UPDATE FOR Y'ALL BC IK I'LL SLACK AGAIN. YES, IK THIS CHAPTER WAS MAJOR SHORT AND THAT'S BECASUE I DIDN'T RELLY KNOW WHAT I WANTED TO WRITE TONIGHT, SO HOPEFULLY THIS UPDATE GIVES YOU AN INSIGHT OF THE SIBLINGS A LITTLE BIT.
