22# Silence

The first thing Ryouichi felt was the blond he was curled up with, smiling warmly he slowly opened his eyes and saw the blond lightly snoozing against his arm, he slowly shuffled his way out of the blond before he heard a small shuffling behind him in the crib, he looked inside and saw that the little babe was waking, he grabbed him ready to deal with Haruki before he cried and woke up the blond that was still silently sleeping. He grabbed a bottle that was made earlier yesterday that was sitting on a preserving seal and lightly placed it in Haru's mouth.

"Shh, you're just hungry huh? We weren't able to feed you yesterday you know.." He whispered to the newborn who seemed to be eating his fill of the contents from the bottle before it stopped. Ryou took that as a sign to stop and slowly began walking around the tourist house that he and Naruto stayed at. He peaked out the window to see light out and looked towards a nearby clock to see it was almost noon. He couldn't help but thank the Kyuubi that the baby was a rester compared to many babies that he knew from... the mothers were always exhausted.

He smiled lightly before he began to cradle the baby in his arms, but that was when he heard a knock on the door. He was confused immediately before he slowly began to walk to the door and slowly opened the door to peak out to see a familiar three that he couldn't help but berate himself for not checking who it was from the window but looked at them in confusion,"Yes? Is there something you need?" he asked, the door was still closed, enough so that the team couldn't see Haruki. 

"We came to see Naruto, we didn't want to see him off with a proper goodbye from the team." Kakashi eye smiled while Sakura seemed to frown and Sasuke had a annoyed look on his face. "He is asleep right now, he was exhausted... you know getting taken in your own village would do that to someone..." Ryou shot back, a look that told them to buzz off. Sakura's frown seemed to deepen at that before she held the door open, "We were just concerned..." Ryouichi gave a long look at the three before he slowly began walking out, leaving the door open. The three took that as a sign to come in.

They looked around as Ryou walked into where the blond was sleeping and lightly placed the little babe down into the crib and tucked him in before he lightly began to shake the blond, "Naruto-kun, your team is here." said blond seemed to move slightly before slowly opening his eyes and gave him a look and turned towards the crib, "Is Haru-chan asleep?" Ryouichi smiled and nodded giving him a kiss on his forehead, "Do you want me to send them away?" Naruto shook his head, slowly getting up, he stretched his upper body before walking out the door shirtless with Ryou in tow. 

"What is it you want? I'm not a ninja anymore." Naruto muttered making Sasuke seemingly scoff. "Yeah, well why is that?" Kakashi gave a look towards Sasuke who seemed to ignore the jounin while Sakura gave a look of wonder as well. "Should there be a good reason? He doesn't want to because of something." Ryou shot back with his arms crossed. "Who asked you? Besides who even are you?" Sasuke snapped making the redhead smirk slightly. "Someone you don't want to mess with." There was power behind his words before Sasuke looked towards Naruto expecting a answer before saying, "You have this power and you don't even use it, pathetic..".

Naruto seemed to frown at that, his eyes on the ground before he looked up, "I have something  I need to protect. What is it you want power? For revenge against your brother?" Naruto snapped making Sasuke see red briefly and step forward but Kakashi had his hand his front of him. "Don't you DARE speak of that MONSTER!" The Uchiha shouted while Sakura held his arm back who seemed to be ready to attack the blond before the five heard a noise... a baby. "Good job.. you woke him.." Naruto muttered before turning to his room and walking in, Sasuke seemed to calm down hearing it.

When Sakura stepped forward Ryou stood in the way, his arm propped against the hallway. "None of your business." Was the only things he said making her glare. "He is my friend, it IS my business." She stated matter-a-factly and glared at him who seemed to smirk at that and grab her hand who seemed to go forward and squeeze it. "It is time for you three to leave... We will be leaving soon, you already said your goodbyes." He stated before he looked up, his silver eyes gleaming. Sakura bit her lip before pulling her hand away and they began to walk out, Kakashi gave one last look to the boy before closing the door.

Ryouichi gave a sigh before looking in the room to see Naruto calming the tiny human before looking out the window where the two flowers rest against one another in the vase before Naruto slowly walked towards him, Haruki in his arms before smiling sheepishly. "I think we should let him stay with Kurama for a bit... just so he can be fully developed... And give us more time." Naruto added the last part with a small whisper.

Ryou hearing this gave him a quick reassuring rub on his arm, the blond was shaking... Why wouldn't he, he was terrified, Ryouichi could tell... Because he was too. Scared that he blinked and the baby would be gone in the wind, someone takes him... something happens to him.. He never felt this feeling, and neither did Naruto. "If that is what you think is right." Naruto gave a smile at that as he seemingly thought off, the babe slowly glowing, his red hair waving from from the chakra before Haruki was gone... "Don't worry, He will be fine, a few weeks and he would be fully developed."

Naruto breathed a sigh of relief and relayed the information to Ryou who seemed to have a similar reaction. Lightly placing his hand to the boys hair he lightly flowed his fingers through the blond locks and gave a breath, "At least we get some time." Naruto gave a firm nod before he looked around and gave a slight chuckle, "So... Tell me what to expect... of being in the capital." Ryou had a slight confused look before his eyes widened thinking about it, Of course he would be going public now with Naruto.. It would be weird, especially since in the capital he is going to be the new idol.

When he thinks of a idol he always visualizes his mother or father, and when his mother died his father always gave stories of his mothers influence over the capital, kids ran up to her in awe and gave flowers... But it could also be to appease the wife of the Daimyo and mother of the Daimyo's son.. He shook his head thinking about it, knowing for a fact when Naruto is in the capital he would be treated differently without a son... so it would be a test so to speak.

"Well... Hope for the best, expect the worse." Naruto gave him a look of false surprise and gave him a offsided thumbs up, "Got it, Do the same as always then?" Ryouichi shook his head in amusement while Naruto smiled and gave a chuckle behind his hand before feeling the hand in his disappear for a brief moment. Looking over he saw Ryou changing and he felt red faced, his heart beating faster before had his eyes ahead trying to rid the emotions... but that was when he felt the bare chest press against him from the backside and he went red.

"You know... I am your fiance~ we have a child~ you don't have to be embarrassed." 

"You are a pervert." 

"I'm YOUR pervert." 

They just knew that it was a beginning of a journey.

A long awaited update! Sorry about things~ Been dealing with crappy family stuff... Plus friendship stuff as well. A whole bunch of personal crap so I apologize!
