Chapter 15 - Encounter

Y/N's POV

The next day, I went to my homeroom to find that Chloe and Caren were already there.

"Sorry about that N/N" said Chloe as I went to them.

"We decided to come to school earlier" continued Caren

I stared at them suspicion building up.  Caren and Chloe aren't people who would want to come to school earlier...something is truly up..

The professor came into the room and I sighed going to my seat where Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai were.

The professor I had for homeroom was nice.  He didn't teach us at all.  In fact, homeroom in Cold Mist College was more of a free time or student lounge(study hall).

Of course, whenever the professor wanted-he could've given us a project or so.  I've heard that our class was the only class who didn't receive once from this homeroom teacher yet.  A good thing for no work but also a bad-it attracts attention too.

But then, everything causes and attracts attention for me now.  There's no stopping it or avoiding it.  I officially can't go under the radar anymore.

And it was all because of the five new transfer students entered my life.

I look at them with my head laying on my on the desk directed to them as they all talk to each other laughing and shoving.

When they first came to this school-I knew they would be a nuisance to me.  Well me going under the radar that is.

That's right.  I don't find their presence annoying.

I never found the popular kids presence annoying.  Nor anyone's really.

What I hated was the attention it could bring me.  Not the people.  Well....some at least.

I hated the popular kids.  Some are nice but the others are just...plain mean.

But all I had to do was make sure I didn't go into any trouble involving them.

"Y/N....are you okay?" I snap back into reality to find Soobin's face quite close to mine.

I nod quickly and lift my head up.

"Yeah sorry...I was just thinking to myself" 

"I thought you doze off into space with your eyes opened" said Taehyun sighing

I swatted his shoulder, "Wouldn't that mean I was dead?"

"Anything could happen" shrugged Yeonjun

"But we all know Y/N isn't any magician" said Beomgyu smiling

"But we don't know if she's an alien or not" butted Huening as the others pretended to gasp in shock

I roll my eyes at their childish behavior. Wait...I'm acting like it too..

"Please." I started, "If anyone was an alien, it would be you guys"

"Are we really that out of the ordinary?" asked Soobin grinning

"Isn't it just our looks?" frowned Yeonjun

"No it's not just your looks!" I blurted out rolling my eyes not processing what I just said until all of them stared at me with disbelief

"did Y/N just lowkey say that our looks were good then?" asked Beomgyu

"What else makes us look out of the ordinary Y/N?" asked Huening smugly

"W-what? Nothing else! Your looks aren't even out of the ordinary either!" 

"She just said we didn't look cute or hot or handsome" sighed Taehyun

"Drat..." said the rest of the members sadly

"I didn't say that either!" 

"Then what ARE you saying now Y/N?" asked Taehyun putting his head onto my desk and looking up at me with his cute eyes....

Aish! Not time to think about that Y/N

"Your average" 

"Only average?" asks Heuning and I look at him his eyes teasing but also serious

"um..."

"she's slightly blushing guys" says Beomgyu giggling cutely

"Am I?"

"You definitely are~" said Soobin

"...you guys are a little above average..." I mutter but it was loud enough for them to hear.

"That's nice to hear" Yeonjun says smiling

The bell rings and I stand up quickly

"Yeah? Well you're not hearing anything else besides that" I said feeling my cheeks burn in embarrassment or....blush..

"meet us at the basketball court after school Y/N!~" said Taehyun

"you better be there!" said Soobin smirking

I ran off blushing like crazy without looking back at them.

Timeskip

Shoot. I ended up being late to the basketball court.  I mean...right now I'm being lectured by my professor for sleeping.  Gosh how long will this take..?

Taehyun's POV

We were all waiting for Y/N to be finished getting lectured by her professor.  We heard the news...

We all laughed at how Y/N was being scolded by her professor and we passed the basketball around as a girl caught my eyes.

She was walking towards us...

and it wasn't Y/N.

I narrowed my eyes watching her walk towards us....her face seemed oddly familiar.

It was natural for boys and girls to come towards us but she was the only one walking towards us with a confident face.

When she stopped in front of us and said her words, it chilled me to the bones and made me remember why she seemed so familiar.

"Hi! So you're the new transfer students like me huh~" she smiled

"And you must be taehyun, from one of my classes~"

I looked back seeing her eyes full of curiosity and her smile...seemed to be fake and real at the same time.

But all I could think of was...

how much Y/N despised this girl..

and what she did...

"Yes I am" I said smiling back, "You're Marie. Nice to meet you"

Yoooooo I'm still alive if you're worried.  I was just too lazy to update this if you get what I mean.  Thankfully it isn't a writer's block.

How many chapters do you think this book will have? I was about to think this was the last chapter and then remembered I didn't even show Marie and Y/N's tension drama yet...xD
