Bakugo's Route - Run

Before we start, I'd like to give thanks to Amanda_Starxx and KujouKitty49 for making covers for me! I'll put their works in another chapter and as more covers come in (hopefully), I'll update them as such! Ok, on to the story!

I ran, bolted out of that area and into the forest as the cloud of smoke was left behind. I guess you could say that training with Iida wasn't such a bad idea.

I eventually found a path, leading to where? I wasn't certain, just hoped that it lead to where I wanted to be, with the others.

The journey along the path was eerily calming, mostly 'cause I was relieved to have gotten out of that predicament. I slowed to a walk as I let my my mind wonder. Who even was that person? Other than that, why was I targeted? I've been asking that question for a while now, no answer though.

What about Katsuki? He didn't have any ties with anyone, well, none that I knew of. The more I thought about Katsuki, the more I wished he was here. It gave me a odd sense of security just imagining it.

I shook my head as I refocused on the task at hand, getting to my classmates. I picked up pace, running along the path.

Just then, a shadow, accompanied with various screams, flew over my head. I tilted my head to see...Shoji? Shoto?? And...Izuku??? Flying????

I started to sprint, following that odd bunch as they chased what seemed to be a villain and I decided, y'know what? Screw it. I used my light, or what left of it, to propel me forward.

There was a huge 'BANG' as the boys crashed landed on top of some villain. I shielded my self from the dust, as did a number of other villains.

The villain that was pinned down vanished into a marble as another one shot a fireball. Shoto managed to avoid it but Izuku and Shoji were hit.

Two villains, a girl and one dressed in a tight suit, charged towards them. I fired two waves of projectiles, hitting only the girl, scraping the other.

The villain who shot the fireball glanced at me before turning to the other villain dressed in a trench coat, who had reverted back to his original form.

"Isn't that one on our list, Compress?" He asked, his bright blue eyes focused on me. I gulped, knowing that he was right. I readied a beam, waiting for a moment to shoot.

"It seems like she is, Dabi," Compress replied, turning to eye me as well. I lifted my arm, firing the beam, knocking Dabi to the ground as Compress evaded it. He seemed to have vanished as I swiveled around, trying to be cautious.

Just then, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and my vision went dark.

It was black, I couldn't even see myself, but I heard, I heard what my friends were doing outside of this place. They were still fighting. I couldn't help but feel bad that I was just sitting here, captured by a villain.

I heard a snap, and I was back outside, facing my friends. A tight grip on my throat held me back, pulling me into a gaping purple and black hole. Katsuki was at my side, also being held captive.

I heard a scream as Izuku and Shoto were sprinting towards us while we were being pulled back. Katsuki glanced over at me, then back to Izuku.

"Stay back...Deku."

I sat in a bar stool, unable to move nor speak due to the restraints on my limbs and tape on my mouth. Katsuki was restrained too, just...with more metal.

The villains who captured us stood in the room, watching the television program that was broadcasting the news. It was about the attack that just occurred.
