"Are you sure you're ok?"

I sighed for the millionth time, assuring Shoto that I was, in fact, alright.

"I'm sorry, it's just that you were in a pretty bad condition before." He pulled his chair closer to my bed, his hand placed over one of my own.

"Keyword is before," I laughed, attempting to move my hand, but my fingers only twitched in response. That stunt of mine back in the forest had damaged my already messed up arms. Recovery Girl estimated that I wouldn't be able to move my arms for another week.

Shoto probably noticed my struggle, smiling as he lifted my hand, planting a kiss on the back of it.

"It's ok. While you recover, I'll be here to assist you whenever you need anything, " he stated, still holding onto my hand.

"Dude, it's not like I can't walk," I joked, "but thank you, Shoto."

I yawned, the recovering taking a toll on my energy. Shoto smiled, running his thumb over my knuckles.

"Get some rest, Y/N. You clearly need it."

I nodded, eyelids growing heavy. Shoto got up from his spot, letting go of my hand before leaving my room, turning the lights off on his way out. It only took me a few moments before I drifted off.

A week had passed and I finally had control over my arm again, though it still hurt to move sometimes.

The others in 1-A had already moved into the dorms, their rooms all set up in their own style. The girls gave me a little tour, stating that they were 'giving me inspiration' for my own room.

When we finished running through their rooms, we hung out in the girls' lounge. Momo sipped her tea while Ochako happily munched on some of Sato's baking. The others decided to pester me a plethora of questions, curious as to what I had to say.

But there was one particular thing that all of them were especially eager to discuss.

"Sooooo," Mina started, leaning forward in her chair, "what's with you and Todoroki?"

The others giggled, grinning teasingly at me. I only sighed in response, jokingly rolling my eyes.

"We're...good." Was all I could say, the girls clearly not impressed by my answer.

"Oh come on Y/N!" Hagakure groaned, bouncing in her seat, "We all know he was the one that took care of you while you were still recovering."

I only gave them an '..and?' kind of look, the faces dropping in frustration.

"You're just as dense as him, Y/N. You two were meant to be together!" Jirou exclaimed, evoking a chorus of laughs from the group.

"I think what Mina is trying to ask is," Momo spoke up, setting her cup down, "are you and Todoroki dating?"

I only mumbled an 'oh' in response, heat rising to my face. The girls squealed in excitement, even the usually calm and collected Momo was beaming.

"I KNEW IT! YOU GUYS OWE ME!" Mina cheered, pointing to the other girls.

A knock silenced the group, all heads turning towards the sound.

"Uh, can I talk to (Y/N)?" Shoto asked from the doorway. His hands moved to tug at his turtleneck as the girls' heads snapped towards me. They giggled, dragging me off the couch.

"Tell me the details later," Mina whispered, winking as she shoved me towards the boy.

"So what is it about?" I asked, both of us outside the dorm. I leaned against one of the lampposts, hands shoved in the pockets of my hoodie.

A slight tint of pink crept up Shoto's cheeks, his hand tugging at his sleeve.

"I, uh, heard what the other girls were talking about and uh," he hesitated, "do they actually think we're..."

His words trailed off, leaving his question hanging.

"Probably," I shrugged, "I didn't get the chance to say no."

An awkward silence filled the atmosphere, only the sounds of the night were to be heard. I stared at the grass underneath my feet, Shoto probably doing the same.

"Well," he spoke up, clearing his throat, "do you want to confirm their suspicions?"

A chuckle escaped my lips as I pushed myself off the lamppost.

"That's a weird way of asking me out."

Shoto laughed himself, his hand moving to massage his nape. His eyes continued to avoid mine, still staring at the ground.

"And, yes. I mean, we technically confessed in the forest already," I answered, laughing. A smile crept up Shoto's face, the boy regaining his confidence.

He stepped towards me, taking my bandaged hands in his. Finally, his eyes met mine, his featured softening.

"Then, can I?"

I nodded, knowing exactly what he meant by that. His eyelids shut as he leaned in. I did the same until the gap between our lips was no more

It was soft and loving, you could tell it was the first time either of us had done this. His hands roamed up to my face, cupping it as he deepened the kiss, getting comfortable with it.

We soon pulled away, chests rising and falling as we caught our breaths. His hands were still placed around my cheeks, his right and left hands differing in temperature.

His lips soon came crashing back in for a shorter, but deeper kiss. As we parted once again, squeals erupted from one of the windows.

I looked up, only to groan at the girls, their heads poking out of the second-floor window. They rushed to close the curtains when they were caught, but I could still hear them giggling.

"I'm gonna kill them," I laughed, looking back at Shoto, who wore one of his rare, bright smiles. He laced his fingers with mine, his eyes seeming to hold a thousand stars.

"We should do that more often."

I let out a chuckle, warmth creeping up my cheeks.

"Definitely."
