You have one chance to make a choice, a choice that will decide your fate...
Beads of sweat ran down my face as I panted. My knees buckled as I sat on the ground, out of breath.
"(L/N)! We have to keep going!" Iida exclaimed, jogging up to me.
"Ugh, just put me out of my misery," I muttered, laying on the ground.
The Pussycats decided that I should focus on speed, since I used that a lot too. So, of course they paired me up with Iida for training.
The problem is, Iida was literally built for pure speed, and I was having a lot of trouble keeping up even with the light propelling me from my soles.
"Just gimme a second. Maybe you could do another round first?" I negotiated, still breathing heavily.
"Alright, what about we go for another 3 laps? And if you beat me, then you can rest," Iida suggested.
I sighed and propped myself back up, eventually getting on my feet.
"I don't think it'll happen ('cause that ain't even fair), but you bet your ass I'm gonna try," I exclaimed, stretching a little.
We crouched down as Iida counted down from 3.
As soon as he yelled "GO!", I propelled myself forward with light. Iida was already 6 feet away, his engines on full thrust.
Let's just say...I never got to rest. But hey! Look at the side, we were gonna have a game later that day. That's exciting.
As we wolfed down our dinner, students were discussing about the game, and what it might be.
"I bet it's just gonna be some kiddy game that they think we would enjoy," Mina sighed, shoving a piece of meat in her mouth.
"But they threw us off a cliff? That's not exactly kid-friendly, Mina," Denki added.
"Oh yeah!" Mina exclaimed, still chewing her food.
"But you guys won't be playing," Aizawa grunted, appearing out of seemingly nowhere.
"You failed the exams, so it's extra classes for you two."
As our class stood together for the game, the Pussycats explained that it was just a test of endurance. They paired us up into groups.
I crossed my fingers, hoping that I wouldn't get Mineta, who was honestly a girl's worst nightmare.
"Lastly, (L/N) and Midoriya!" I let out a sigh of relief. I didn't have to deal with that purple pervert.
"Hey (Y/N)! I guess we're a team," Izuku exclaimed, walking up to me.
"Yeah, but I pity Shoto and Katsuki though. They obviously don't mix well."
Well, Shoto seemed slightly irritated, but Katsuki was just fuming.
Mandalay explained that Class 1B would be hiding in the forest along its paths. Their job was to try to scare as many of us with their quirks. We have to find cards with our names on them to prove we went in. We will be alternating after that. Hm, easy enough.
As the game begins, I could already hear the screams of our fellow classmates echoing from the woods.
"D-do you think we'll get through this?" Izuku asks, sweat forming from the screams.
"Their quirks can't be that scary, right? And plus, you got me."
"Wait look! There's smoke there!" Someone had yelled.
