{Chapter 1} ♡

♡ Hye Rin P.O.V ♡

I bursted through the doors to only receive glares by all the other participants in the waiting room and instantly regretted it. I managed to reach on time. Oh, thank god!

The only vacant seat left was beside a girl with a blond-brown bob hair cut. I sat beside her and she smiled at me. I returned the greeting and she chirped, "Annyeong! I'm Soo Joo!" while sticking out her hand for me to shake.

Wow, she's nice.

"Oh, annyeong. I-i'm Hye Rin." I said while taking her hand and shaking it. By this time, my head was still laid low. You can tell, I'm a shy person.

"Aniya! Why are you so nervous? I don't bite you know." She said while slightly giggling. I just shook my head and diverted my attention to something else.

"So, are auditioning as a Solo-Artist or..?" she said trying to break the awkward silence that filled in the air.

"Yes, you too?" I said and she nodded, "Weird question but what song are you gonna audition? You know that we have to sing a song right?" she asked while pointing out the plainly obvious.

"Uh, '1,2,3 by Lee Hi' actually. What about you?" I asked and she went wide-eyed, clearly impressed by my song choice.

"You chose a really powerful song. I'll be singing 'Don't Cry by Park Bom' Oh my goodness I am so nervous. We're up next soon!" She said as she was fidgeting with the sleeves of her pullover. Can I say that the pullover she is wearing is the cutest I have ever seen? It has cat on it!!

As the time passes by, we talked even more. Like what we do, what we like and what are our dreams for the future. It's great to talk to her because she made me less nervous about this audition. As we were talking, I could hear someone enter a room. It was a girl with pastel pink hair. She's pretty and she looks so rad. I'm pretty sure that she's like 19? 20? I don't know.

She sat right next to me and gave me a small smile and proceeded on putting on her earpieces, blocking out the world.

♡ Park Jin P.O.V ♡

Finally, I am here! I can't believe I made it! Oh god, I'm so tired. I entered the waiting room and just walked over to any seat I see that's empty. I almost didn't notice the girl sitting right next to it so by the time I wanted to bow, my butt almost touched the chair. So I just gave her a smile.

I hope I don't come across as rude or anything. Nah, she looks young. Probably my age or something. So I decided to let it go and just put on my earpiece. I was nervous but I need to be confident in this.

I took settled deep breaths and prayed to god that I get in. I need to get in. I have worked on this day since- Forever! I will not back down!

♡ Soo Joo P.O.V ♡

Hye Rin is actually a very nice girl. She's shy at first but as we talked more, I can tell that she's a fun person to be around. Maybe after this, we can hang out a couple of times. Talking to Hye Rin is like therapy. She makes me forget my nervousness due to this audition and all my worries.

"Lee Soo Joo? Lee Soo Joo, it's your turn." A lady with a sheet of paper in her hands said. I stood up and Hye Rin fist-pumped the air and mouthed the word, 'Fighting'. The girl beside her gave me a thumbs up and I smiled to both of them.

"Over here ma'am." The lady said as she pointed to the transparent glass door. I knocked and entered.

"Annyeonghaseyo. My name is Lee Soo Joo." I said as I walked to the centre of the room.
