chapter seven

Leoreo's brown eyes widened in disbelief.
"HE DID WHAT?!" He shouted, slamming his hands onto the table.
You had just finished telling Leoreo about Hisoka and he did not like the news.
"Oh, y/n! I'll kill that damn bastard!" He snarled.
"Shhh. Quiet down, Leoreo, you're yelling." You laugh.
After chatting for a bit longer, he notices your wound.
" That's gonna get infected. Come on, I'll fix it up for you. " he insisted, ushering you out the door.
After walking for a bit longer, you found a quiet place where Leoreo cleaned and bandaged the laceration in your side. You wince as the disinfectant stings the gash.
"Thanks, Leoreo." You gush, hugging him.
He was such a nice guy.
"Of course! You're my friend!" He responds, grinning.
" Also, if I see Hisoka again, imma thrash him. " he growls, clenching his fist.
You pat his shoulder and laugh.
"We both know you would die." You giggle.
His face turns annoyed and offended.
" would not! I-I'm a strong guy! " he blushed, looking down.
"Aww. It's ok, Leoreo. Hisoka is stupid. Why waste your time on him anyways?" You assure him
His smile returns.
" Meet here in a month? "
"You bet!" You reply, giving him a final hug.
" I'll call you! " You call, waving as you run.
You planned to get Gon and Killua and ditch heaven's arena. That place was terrible as long as Hisoka was there. You screwed up your face. No. Any place with Hisoka was terrible. You already knew that Hisoka would immediately continue to bother you as soon as you arrived. You sigh I'm anguish. Just ignore him.
Finally, the colossal tower came into view as you jogged up to it. Heaven's Arena. You push through the glass doors, your eyes searching for your two friends. After traveling around for a little bit on your search, you bump into the last person you wanted to see. Hisoka.
You sigh and walk past him, but of course he grabs your arm. Ignore him. You don't respond as he turns you around, his metallic golden eyes boring into you. You avoid his gaze and go dead eyed, attempting to disinterest him.
"It seems my little fruit has returned." He sang, lifting your chin.
You close your eyes on agitation. Jerking your head out of his dreadful fingers, you briskly run away, continuing your search. You really didn't want to deal with him at the moment. You sigh I'm relief when he doesn't follow you. Eventually, you find Gon and Killua chatting with each other, eating chocolate and laughing.
A soft smile graces your lips as you approach them.
"Hey, guys!" You greet, waving.
They both immediately grin.
" Y/n! We were just gonna look for you! " squealed Gon.
"Guess what? I saw Leoreo!" You reply, jumping up and down.
" Really? " said Killua, his grin expanding.
"Yeah! We talked about a lot of things. By the way, don't talk to Hisoka anymore, he sucks."
They both exchange worried glances.
"What did he do?" Implored Gon.
You told them all of the horrible stories. You jumping off of the balcony, him bothering you, all of the terrible things he put you through. You left out the part when he forced himself on you, however.
"Wow. Hisoka really does suck." Exclaimed Gon , shaking his head.
"I'm really sorry for not being there for you when you needed us the most!" He said sadly.
"It's alright. I love you guys with all my heart." You gush, pulling them into a hug.
"Shut up..." Blushed Killua, pushing you away.
"So... I suck, do I?" You heard Hisoka croon.
You turn around indignantly.
"Yeah!" You reply, your fists on your hips.
He chuckles, stepping closer.
"That's not very nice." He pouted.
"Have you ever stopped to consider that you are nothing even related to nice whatsoever?" You growl, quirking an eyebrow.
He chortles once more. He places a hand on your shoulder, shaking his head.
"You really know to how to make a guy laugh, y/n." He says, giggling.
" whoop dee doo. " You say, rolling your eyes.
All fear of him had diminished. He smiles at you, his stunning yellow eyes filled with amusement. How adorable. He thinks.
