Chapter 8 - Introductions

Fluttershy woke up the next day to the smell of hay pancakes. She walked down stairs to see Sombra making them. 

"OH Flutters. Good morning. I hope you don't mind but I made breakfast but don't worry, I didn't use anything here. I woke up early and got everything, just for you." Sombra said with a smile, placing the last of the pancakes down. Fluttershy blushed as she sat down.

"Wow Sombra, no pony has ever done anything this nice for me." She said, taking a few bits. She smiled and ate more.

"These are delicious Sombra. Thank you so much." Fluttershy said. Sombra, who was also eating now, smiled. 

"Your very welcome Flutters. Now, after this, I will do dish and find a place to stay, if this town allows me to that is." He said sadly. Fluttershy smiled. 

"Well, I could go with you and introduce you to the towns people and my friends." She said. Sombra smiled and hugged her, kissing her cheek. 

"Oh Thank you Flutters!" He said. Fluttershy laughed and giggled. Fluttershy did her chores while Sombra did the dishes. 

'This pony is falling for me better then I thought. Soon I will have them all destroyed and I will then take my kingdom back.' He thought as he finished. He only had to play nice for a few more days before everything works out. He walked out and saw Fluttershy.

"Flutters! I'm ready when you are!" He said. Fluttershy flew over to him and the two walked into town. They both were laughing and the first pony they ran into was Applejack. 

"Applejack!" Fluttershy said and trotted over to her.

"Well hello there sugar-cube." She said but then saw the gray pony behind her. 

"And howdy to your friend." She added. Fluttershy smiled. 

"Applejack, this is Sombra, a stallion I meet yesterday." Fluttershy said. Applejack looked a bit shocked. 

"Like, King Sombra?" She asked. Sombra laughed a bit. 

"Yes but only by name. I'm nothing like that stallion. I wouldn't hurt a fly and Flutters here has been so kind to me." He said. Applejack looked at Fluttershy, who was blushing a bit. 

"Awe. All I did was was show you kindness." She said. Applejack smiled at her.

"Well if your a friend of Fluttershy, your a friend to me." Applejack said. Sombra smiled. 

The rest of the day was about the same as it was with Applejack. Rainbow loved him, Rarity wanted to make his a suit, Pinkie made his a cake and told him about the party she would throw his later today. The one they hadn't seen was Twilight.

"Flutters, are you OK?" Sombra asked as they stopped to get a hay salad. Fluttershy frowned and shook her head. 

"No, well yes but still no." She said. Sombra slid his hoof next to hers. 

"Tell me?" He asked. Fluttershy sighed and told him about what happened when she asked her out. Sombra has been nothing but kind to her and reminded her a lot of Applejack. 

"OH, I'm sorry Flutters. And all this time I was trying to get you to like me." Sombra said. 

"But I do like you." Fluttershy said. Sombra smiled sadly.

"Not how I like you." He said. Fluttershy blushed and stood. He was about to say something when Fluttershy kissed him fast. 

"I...I..." He said stunned. Fluttershy blushed. 

"I like stallions too." Fluttershy said. Sombra smiled 

"Fluttershy, will you be my very special pony?" Sombra said and Fluttershy was about to answer but they heard a gasped. They turned and saw Twilight.

"Twilight." Fluttershy said with a smile and ran and hugged her. Twilight didn't hug back.
