I know the tough road,
Spreading ahead of me.
And I can't ignore the pain,
Making my heart bleed.
Everyday in the mirror,
I see a person that I don't know.
Looking back at me,
With full lips and a frown.
"This body isn't mine"
I whisper into the dark.
Although I know who I am,
The years have left their marks.
All I can see,
Are wide hips and no flat chest.
That smile I carried,
Is now gone and what's left is detest.
I can never be real"
My brain tells my heart.
"I'll always be fake"
And my heart breaks apart.
If only a wizard would appear,
Changing my life, fulfilling my dreams.
Making me flat, tall and handsome,
Like the man I should be.
But that's only a wish,
And I'll forever be me.
A guy that is fake and will never be real.
