It was as if he was looking into my soul. His eyes caressed every inch of my body from head to toe in awe. I could tell, I absolutely surprised him. We were both frozen as if time stood still just for us. I felt a tear crawl down my cheek unexpectedly. Just as I tried to blink the rest of the tears out and wipe my face, he began walking towards me.
I started to panic mentally but I know physically, I was just wiping my face. When he had come so close that I could touch him, I just stared at him and he did the same for a while. He then grabbed me and pulled me into a tight embrace. I was still in shock so it took me a while to realize what was actually happening.
This just can't be real. This must be one of my dreams that I always tend to have. It can't be real. He isn't touching me right now. It can't be possible.
Once I hugged him back, I held him as tight as I could to make sure that it was real. I was on the tips of my toes with my hands wrapped around his neck. His arms were interlocked around my waist holding me like he needed me.
We stood there for a while as I quietly cried. I have spent nights in bed crying because all I wanted to do was be held by this man. The second I hugged him, I knew I would never let go.
Stokeley pulled away and held my face softly with both of his hands. He looked in my eyes while I looked in his and I cupped his hands with mine. "Amori! Is this really my baby girl?" he questions with a look of disbelief. He lightly smacked my face with the back of his hand making me smirk. "Yes! It's me," I laughed. He smiled in return and I saw his beautiful white and straight teeth.
"Cough cough!" Stokeley and I turned around to notice Savani and Scheme standing there smiling. I had 100% forgot that they even existed. "Oh shit, hey sis!" Stokes said as he hugged Savani and we all laughed together. "Wassup dumbass!"
"Why I gotta be a dumbass?" he questions while grabbing my hand without looking for it. "Because yo dumbass didn't figure out that we were here." She shook her head and laughed. I looked at him waiting for his response but he was already looking at me.
"I had a feeling but I just needed to touch her to prove it," he looked down at me and smile. "But Gabe and Jah were making me feel like I was going crazy." That made Gabe shrug his shoulders and smirk. I looked away from the three of them and noticed Craig, X, Ool, Trunks, and Coolie walking toward us. Some of them had surprised and confused looks on their faces.
"I knew I saw yo ass in the crowd!" Craig laughed and gave me a hug as well as the others. I was excited to finally see them as well. "Y'all fit like some puzzle piece. Already holding hands and shit." Coolie commented after noticing Stokeley grab my hand again. It was so natural when he held my hand, it felt like his hand was supposed to be intertwined with mine.
The entire moment was genuine and I felt so loved. Then somebody had to yell, "You still a bitch Ski." I glanced at him to see his reaction. He glared at X because he knew he said it. I thought he was pissed until he drew his attention to me and smiled. "That would have bothered me a minute ago but I don't even care right now." Everyone's eyes widened because I think they're so used to getting a reaction out of him.
