"We have now arrived at your destination of Miami, Florida. It is now 3:37 pm. It is currently 86 degrees. Thank you for flying with American Airlines."
My eye fluttered as the flight attendant spoke on the mic of the aircraft. The first thing I noticed was how my ears were clogged. "This is going to be so annoying." I thought to myself. I sat my body up and looked to my right to see that Savani was in a deep sleep with her mouth opened ajar. I rubbed my eyes and lightly shoved her arm.
I watched her open her eyes and look perplexed at the situation. Her eyes wandered until she met mines and all I could do was laugh.
"Get up hoe, we got shit to do." I looked at her and got up from my seat to get our backpacks. Most of the people were already off the plane or walking off. I threw her bag at her hoping it would piss her off so she could get up.
"What the fuck Amori. I'm up shit." she fiercely said while standing up and stretching.
"Well come the fuck on then. I walked off the plane and into the airport. She followed behind about 15 feet and looked so vex with me that just watching her made me laugh. Eventually, she laughed with me and caught up so she was walking beside me.
When we finally got our luggage we ordered an Uber to our hotel. We were on our phones while we waited. I had a lot of messages from my mom, dad, and Stokeley.
