'I still can't believe it. I'm a triplet? How is this even possible? I mean the boys didn't even seem surprised so did they know about it all along?' All of these thoughts went through my head as I walked back to the house. I walked up the path to the door and opened it. I walked into the house and slipped my shoes off before walking into the kitchen.
"I'm home." I yell opening the cupboard and finding a box of kettlecorn and sticking one in the microwave. I walk over to the fridge and grab a bottle of pomegranit ice water and wait for my kettlecorn to finish popping, once it's finished I walk into the living room and go over to our movie collection.
"Hey bug what's up?" Luke asks from his place on the couch.
"Well I just found out I'm a triplet with an insane father who apperantly seriously injured me and escaped the cops and he could still be alive." I say and the boys don't look that surprised. I mean Calum fakes a gasp and the boys try to sound surprised but I can see right through them.
"You guys aren't even surprised, did you know about this?" I ask.
"Kaylee listen we-" Michael started but I cut him off.
"Did you know about this?" I ask and all the boys look guilty.
"Kaylee sit down." Ashton sighs and I walk over to the chair on the other side of the couch.
"We did know but we had a reason we didn't tell you. The woman at the orphanage said she had gotten a letter a couple weeks after you were placed in the orphanage saying that they were dead. She didn't want to tell you because she didn't want to upset you. She said it was up to us but we hadn't decided yet. But in the ice cream shop when we saw that girl we knew it wasn't true, it couldn't be." Ashton said and I nodded but then I realized something.
"Wait, then you should at least be surprised that they're alive!" I said and Luke nodded.
"Let us finish. A couple months ago at a meet and greet we met her. At first we were really confused and thought she was you but she quickly explained. She also asked us not to tell you, she said she didn't want you to feel bad that you were having fun and traveling the world with us while they were back here in the orphanage." Luke explained.
"Wait they haven't been adopted?" I ask and the boys nod. I guess I just kind of assumed that they had been adopted. "So why don't we adopt them?" I ask and Calum shakes his head.
"We offered that at the meet and greet but she denied it. She wouldn't say why either, she just said no and left." He says.
"I'm going to go lay in my room and watch a movie today has been exhausting." I say grabbing Dark Shadows from the movie shelf along with my food and water before heading upstairs.
I put the movie in my dvd player and plop down on my bed, and decide to take a nap. I wake up to a sound and sit up rubbing my eyes, I look around the room and that's when I notice I'm not in this room alone.
(A/N If everything goes as planned the next chapter will be up on my 16th birthday (september 22) and if not then...I'm sorry anyway bye cookies)
