We got love...all we need

Chapter 1

Ava sat in the baby's room rocking their daughter Athaelia. She was 2 weeks and doing well. She closed her eyes slowly as Ava rocked. Ava watched her as she slowly fell asleep remembering when she told Connor she was pregnant with their baby. She had sat in the bedroom listing to Connor getting Callen to sleep. She walked in and held out the pregnancy test. She remembered his shocked expression and he looked at it and then her "are you serious?" He asked taking it into the living room "your pregnant?" He asked looking at her "this isn't a joke?" Ava laughed a little "I'm pregnant. Really and truly pregnant" he spun her around kissing her. They hadn't planned this but it was something they wanted at some point. The next morning she set up an appointment and found they had gotten pregnant on their wedding day. It was a whirlwind of figuring out the due date and getting baby things again. They wanted to be surprised again and thankful they had kept all of Callen's baby clothes.

She was born after Callen's 1st birthday, which made it better. Ava had Athaelia at home delivered by Connor with Maggie close by. Labor was fast and in the tub and was amazing for Ava. She slowed her rocking and laid her down in her crib. The kids shared a room and things where going great. She smiled when Connor brought Callen in to nurse and to go to bed. She took Callen and sat down to nurse as Connor went to pat Athaelia's chest until she was asleep. "We did good Ava." He whispered turning on the music "two beautiful children and our love" she smiled as he kissed her "we did, and things are getting better." She rubbed Callen's cheek "I'll be out soon" Connor nodded leaving

Ava came out 20 minutes later and sat beside him "you know I was so close to having a drink again" she said "then you had to go and knock me up" he laughed "you didn't complain once" he kissed her as she pushed him away "that's how we got our beautiful daughter. And you can't touch me for at lest 4 more weeks" he laughed again as she curled up into him "ummm...so you remember how we had a big get together after Callen was born?" She nodded "can we do that again? They can't wait to meet her" Ava nodded "sure. However some have met her." He shrugged "well what can I say, we have nosey friends."
