Sybil stared at the wooden facade of Madame Beck's Worldly Wands. After Hogwarts, Adelaide completely vanished from anyone's radar. Everyone expected her to be a writer for Witch Weekly after showing great affinity with gossips and boys. That was exactly why everyone was surprised when she opened up her very own wand shop at the western edge of Europe. Many people from all over the world would fly over Europe just to get her wands. That was how famous she was. A big reason for that is her use of different wand cores and woods. While Sir Ollivander focused on the primary cores, Warbeck liked to push her wand making skills to the limit. She created wands that are particularly tricky and had a wide coverage. Many sought after her wands for their rarity. In fact, Adelaide opened branches of her shops all over the world which was currently managed by expertly trained apprentices of hers. Sybil would be lying if she said she wasn't impressed with the huge feat.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed over the glass door of the shop. A bell rang, announcing her entry however when she took a look around, not Adelaide was there. Sybil pondered for a moment before taking a few steps forward and sitting on a purple couch that was probably there as a waiting area for the customers during busy days. Sybil was impressed with the interior design. It didn't look ancient and dull like most wand shops and instead had a modern twist. Ornaments and shells hanged around the ceiling while the wooden floor was covered with a large purple rug. There are bookshelves on the right side of the shop and the sitting are was on the left side. Upon entering, you would be greeted with a large counter top designed with intricately molded shapes and golden swirls. On top of it lies a purple lantern and behind it are rows and rows of boxes with wands inside it. Sybil also took note of the moving pictures hanged on the wall. When she took a better look at it, she figured it was photographs during important events that happened to the shop.

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. I was busy making a wand. What can I help you—" Sybil tore her eyes from the wall to Adelaide who emerged from the back of the shop.

"Hello, Ms. Warbeck." She greeted the woman who was still standing in shock.

"Ms. Peverell... I didn't expect you to come in today." Adelaide composed herself, wiping her hands on the apron she was wearing over a blue dress. Sybil was pleasantly surprised when she took a good look at Adelaide. She now had curly hair and she wasn't wearing any make-up. She looked so naturally pretty and it made her skin glow more. It suited her very well.

"I heard from Maria that you went in to see me. I'm sorry I wasn't there to meet you."

"No. I understand how busy you are as an Auror. I expected that you would be unavailable but I still took a shot since I was passing by to renew my permit anyways."

"I suppose I could say the same to you. You must be quite busy handling various shops all over the world. I never expected you would open up your own business. I always pictured you as a writer for some magazine back then."

"Well, I did too. But somewhere along the line, my ideals changed and here we are. Would you like some tea?"

"If it wouldn't bother you. How have you been?"
