3rd POV
She walked down the aisle, two starbucks orders in her hands, as carefully taking in her surroundings. Shawn was waiting outside dressed in a black hoodie, merchadise jacket on top.
From the moment they met, their conversation seemed to be endless.
"Thanks. I needed one." Shawn said, taking the cup from her hand.
Ari flashed him a bunny smile, dimples on full display. For the first time, they sat comfortably in silence, enjoying their warm escape.
"To be honest, it's not that bad. It's over now."
Shawn kept on staring at the distance, his mind lost wandering. "I know."
"It was PR. I knew it was...I don't know..."
"But your heart didn't." Ari gave her shoulders a light shake and took another huge sip from her cup, immensely careful not to strain her clothes.
"You sometimes think you're over it-"
"But you're not. I know." She looked up at him.
"It's still there, inside your heart. Feelings fade. Memories as well. You'll move on. We all do at some point."
"Did you?" Shawn asked, voice below a whipser. He threw the cup in the bin next to him.
Without a last word, she copied him and together they continued walking.
'No.'
