After running into that wack job that drained Murphy of his blood our main route was through mostly dessert and rough roads leading to a bumpy drive.

"That definitely wasn't as nice as I remembered lunch tasting" I said wiping away the small amount of puke left in my lip. Car sickness wasn't something I was new too but this was way more intense then ever before.
"Maybe we should stop, Murphy is already sucked dry of his blood we don't need anyone else getting close to death." I could see the worry in Docs eyes. "It's just the bumpy roads I'll be-" before I was able to finish my sentence I felt my stomach clench and my mouth water, I turned around holding the truck beds side and threw up the rest of my lunch. "Fine. I'll be fine." I turned back to Doc wiping my mouth. He ignored me and banged on the truck window "Warren! We need to find these two a place to rest" he shouted over the sounds of the truck.
We slowed down then came to a complete stop. "Y'all alright back here?" Warren asked. "Murphy has a fever again and I'm not to sure whats up with this one but it doesn't seem too peachy." Doc cautioned while pointing at me. Warren looked at Murphy and I with that concerned but mission focused look. "Alright, 10k investigate up ahead see if you can find any towns or someplace to set up camp for a while. Addy Doc you guys stay here Vasquez you take the right side and ill go left they're might not be much out here so we should be looking in more than one direction. "

"Addy," I pushed her hand off my forehead "I'm telling you it's just from the bumpy roads. I have a weak stomach. " "You could've eaten something bad and might be catching some weird flue," she looked at me worried. "We have to be careful you don't get so sick we can't treat you." I sighed at her knowing she was right. "I'm telling you, I'm fine and will be fine for a long time." She looked at me like she was afraid of losing someone close to her again so soon. I hugged her. "I promise. You guys are stuck with me forever" "Hey guys not to break up your moment or anything but it's getting late shouldn't they be back by now?" Doc questioned. He was standing up in the bed of the truck hand on his forehead to block out the sun. "Maybe we should send a rescue team." Murphy muttered with his eyes shut. "Ope, no, here we go! YA FIND ANYTHING KID" he yelled at 10k who was making his way back with what seemed like a dead fox. "JUST THIS" he yelled back waving the dead animal in the air. "Hopefully one of the other two found more." Disappointed, Doc put his hands on his hips but continued to stand looking in every direction.
About 12 minutes later Warren and Vasquez arrived, Vasquez talking about a small town with a drug store, grocery store, clothing shop and some empty but clean looking house. "Great the whole works. New cloths maybe some drugs and food. maybe we'll call it home." Murphy grunted.

Night fall was only a few hours away by the time we got there. "And Doc you take the drug store." Warren broke away from the group as she finished giving orders. "I'll come with" I joined doc walking towards the roughed up building. "Are you sure you should be up and about?" I nodded at him. "I want to see if they have candy." He chuckled at me. Doc cautiously opened the door it triggered a bell to ring causing two extremely decomposing Z's to run at us. Doc Knocking the first one down leaving the second one charging towards me I grabbed my knife and pushed it into its skull. "Now where's the candy." I joked walking towards the front counter. "I'll get any medicine we could use. " Doc shuffled back to the almost bear shelf's.
Walking through the scavenged isles I spotted a section that was almost untouched, the feminine products, I giggled to myself like a child would. But that's when I finally realized. I hadn't had a period in maybe a month or so. I quickly grabbed some of the pregnancy test and stuffed them in my beg. "Whatcha got there" I jumped at his voice and quickly grabbed a box of tampons. "Ya know, just the essentials." I held the box to his face. He made an ew sort of look back at me. "Well I got everything medicine wise. We should be on our way it's getting dark."

Back at the house everyone was fighting over rooms and couches. "I almost died and practically still am. I get the bedroom with the cleanest bed. " Murphy declared. Everyone groaned at him. I broke off from the group to use the upstairs bathroom. "Oh god pllleeeaaassseee don't let me be pregnant in the apocalypse. Pleasaaassseeee" I whispered to myself as I pulled the stick from the box. After a few minutes of waiting I looked. Two lines. Shocked and scared I did two other test. Both also had two lines. "Oh god. What am I gonna do." I curled up on the floor pulling my legs to my chest and laying my head on my knees.
Soft knocking interrupted my thought. "You've been in there a while everything okay?" Oh great, 10k. Exactly the person I don't want to see right now. I wiped away the few tears I cried and cleared my throat. "Yeah I'm okay. " I cracked the door a little. "You're face is red. You were crying, what's wrong." "it's nothing. I'm fine." "I know you y/n, you don't cry over nothing. Will you please tell me what's wrong." I paused for a minute thinking how he'd react. What he would say. "It's nothing tommy, I'm just a little nauseous still." I forced a smile. "Will you get me Doc." Even more worry washed over his face. "Just to be safe. I'm sure it's nothing." He nodded.

"WHAT!!" Doc basically screamed. I hit him while shushing at him. "Sorry but it's not every day you get news like this. Especially not in the apocalypse. Why haven't you told 10k? Are you going to tell him? Are you keeping it? How long? Have you thought about names yet?" All of his questions made me start sobbing. In between tears I managed to tell him I didn't know.
Sitting on the bathroom floor now with docs arms around me trying to comfort me I wiped my face. "What should I do Doc?" I looked at him searching for any reassurance in him. "Well you got me there kid." He sighed. "Maybe pros and cons?" I let out a little laugh. "Maybe."

Will be continued in a different chapter because I feel like I write too much.
