They say time heals all. They lied. As i cut through the water, mind thoughts race through my mind, twisting my inner dreams and wonders into horrid things. Morrigan is dead. Peace should come. Yet every time I close my eyes, I hear screams echoing around me; i recognize them as my own. I feel the grip of vicious hands on my shoulds, shoving me down into the water. I see the flag, fluttering above my head. Then the faces; the crew. Their grime covered faces and heartless eyes. Their drunken laughter as they cheer on their leader. Morrigan's own son among them, his eyes mirroring his father's icey glare. They all laughed as my life drained away...

Their faces would haunt me. Day after day. I knew they would. i take comfort in the fact that i will live on as a guardian of the water, while they wither... I shudder as i swim, the familiar feeling flowing down my spine. Revenge. Hate. Fear. i swerve and twist through the water, the shadows around me seemingly having faces. A hand, cold and blue rises from the shadows, an arm following that, and the rest of a man's figure take form. I freeze, horror consuming me. My blood gone cold. The familar face, scared and blue tinted; sea weed draped over him, dragging him down. Chains of plant, keeping him back.  But it was him all the same. Morrigan. He comes closer; i am frozen by the fear. i cannot move, and as his hands reach out to clutch my neck, he dissapears. Once again i am alone.

The evil man haunts me, even in his death. Can he not let me have my peace! memories flash thorugh my mind. Morrigan's son. He will be next. I instantly relax, my swimming flowing soomther. Now i know what i must do. I will find the son of the horrible man.

i watched the sunlight flicker along the waves and dance through the water. it was not yet time. When night falls, i can begin the ritual. In a few days time, once again, the deadly song will be sung.
