Chapter Ten: Daddy's Little Girl Part One

Laurie's mom had just gotten a divorce about a year and a half ago and now she had been seeing someone for about four months.

It was getting pretty serious between the two of them. He was always staying the night at their house. It drove Laurie crazy because she had a bit of a crush on the guy.

~Flashback~ A month ago~ Meeting Negan~

It was about 8:30 and Laurie was going to take her nightly shower. She slipped out of her clothes and slipped on her robe.

Putting her hair up in a messy bun, she went out into the hallway and headed to the bathroom.

She opened the door to reveal a very tall man with a towel, that was too small, wrapped around his waist.

"OH GOD! I'M SO SORRY!" She screamed as she slammed the door. She ran back to her room, slammed the door and hid under the blankets on her bed.

A few minutes later there was a soft knock on her bedroom door. "Fuck off mom!" She yelled.

The door slowly creaked open and the man entered. "Hey...Uh I'm sorry about earlier. I should've locked the door..." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah well maybe you should just shower at your own place. And find someone who isn't my mom to fuck."

The man chuckled slightly before stepping slowly towards her. "Hi, I'm Negan. I'm uh I'm your mom's boyfriend." He said extending his hand out to Laurie's.

Laurie rolled her eyes and reluctantly took his large hand in hers. "I'm Laurie."

"Robin has told me so much about you."

"Yeah well I wish I could say the same for you." She said shyly.

Robin had snuck around with Negan from the time they met, knowing Laurie would be upset with the idea of her mom dating someone so soon after the divorce.

"Oh well maybe while we wait for Robin to get home we can get to know each other."

"Yeah maybe after my shower." Laurie commented before sliding off her bed. She blushed after realizing she was still in just her robe.

Negan couldn't help but catch a few looks at her. "Okay you can't have me and my mom. It's one or the other." Laurie joked as she grabbed her towel and clothes.

She looked back at Negan m, who was about as red as a tomato. "Sorry..." He said shyly.

Laurie walked back to the bathroom and locked the door behind her. Okay...be calm...don't be mad at mom, she's just lonely. Laurie thought to herself, trying to calm down.

She had always had trust issues with new people her mom brought home since her parents got divorced. She's seen guys come and go through out the months. She thought it was just another fling.

After showering she got dressed and headed downstairs where Negan was sitting on the couch with a glass of scotch.

Laurie headed to the living room and sat across from him. She grabbed the glass of scotch from him and took a big gulp.

"Hey! You're too fucking young to be drinking. And I sure as shit ain't gonna get caught letting you do it." Negan said, taking the glass out of her hand.

Laurie rolled her eyes at his "I'm your father and you will listen to every word I have to say, young lady" speech.

"You're not my dad. What do you care?" She snapped. "What is my mom gonna say 'No sex for a week' or some bullshit like that if you get in trouble?"

Negan scoffed at her comments and finished off his scotch. "No. You're right I'm not your dad. But unlike him, I give a shit about your mom."

"Don't talk about my dad like that again! This is my house and I can kick you out if I want!" Laurie yelled, tears coming to her eyes.

She wiped one away before sprinting up the stairs and slamming her bedroom door. Laurie's heart was racing, she wasn't sure if it was because of how angry she was or how hot Negan was. But she did know it was a very dangerous combination.

~Flashback Over~ Today~

Laurie was sitting in her room, reading a book when someone knocked on her door.

"What do you want?!" She snapped.

"Hey...Negan and I are going out to dinner tonight. We won't be back until 11:30." Robin said through the door.

"He's got a little surprise for me." She said with a giggle.

"That's so great mom." Laurie said sarcastically. "I cannot wait for you two to come home and fuck each other's brains out tonight."

Negan was standing outside the door with Robin and he tried so hard not to laugh at Laurie's smart-assery.

"Hey, don't talk to me like that again young lady."

"Fuck you, ya old bat!" (Just for you A.R.A.❤️)

"Laurie Anne Michaels! Get your ass out here right now!" Robin screamed.

Laurie scoffed as she got off her bed and swung the door open. "What do you want?! And my name is Laurie Anne Fitzgerald. I'm not taking your name."

Robin glared at Laurie with her arms crossed over her chest. "You have no right to talk to me like that, I'm your damn mother."

"You had no fucking right to leave dad! You sure as shit had no right to fucking make me stay with you!" Laurie screamed, tears pouring down her cheeks.

Robin's expression hardened and she just turned and walked to her room, slamming the door behind her.

Laurie screamed at the top of her lungs and stormed back in her room. She threw herself on her bed and cried her heart out.

Negan was caught in the middle of it all and was left standing in complete shock in the hallway.

Slowly he made his way to Robin's room where he knocked gently on the door.

A very flustered Robin opened the door and immediately Negan pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry you had to see that." She said quietly. Negan ran his hand up and down her back in a soothing manner.

"It's okay, I understand what she's going through." Negan said as he held Robin.

"You do?"

"Yeah...my parents got a divorce when I was a kid. Got stuck with the old man. Those were the worst fucking years of my life."

"Could you talk to Laurie, please? I can't seem to get through to her. Maybe she just needs to hear a different voice." Robin said, wiping a tear from her eye.

"I will, but we still need to go out to dinner first." Negan said with a small smile.

"Okay, but I need to check on her. She's been going through a rough patch and I wanna make sure she's okay." Robin gave Negan one more hug before talking to her daughter.
