10:35
Saturday morning, at your local
coffee shop,

"Are you sure?" You joked. She chuckled for a moment before answering.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure," she lifted her voice so it was no longer a whisper.
What do I say to that? Should I say I do to? Or is that to soon?

You gazed at her for a bit. "Tell her the feeling is mutual," You smiled. Her eyes widened. She glanced at the girl before she responded. "I will," she gave a small soldier salut, then hopped to her booth. You let out a small chuckle.

You couldn't hear them when they talked, at all, so you hoped it was good things.

"Here is your coffee. Oh! Here is your extra sugar, I'll be right out with your Sunny Special!" Ali spoke happily. "Thank you!" You replied.

The girl in brown scooted over so the girl in the chains could get out. You were almost sweating as she made her way to your booth.

"Hi," she scratched the back of her neck, obviously nervous. Is she nervous around me? Really, me? "Hey," you responded, again sharing the same nervous energy. "Can I sit down?" She politely asked, twiddling her chains again. "Of course!" You answered.

"So, what's your name?" She asked, desperately trying to create conversation.
"Umm, Y/N, yours?"
"Billie."
There was a short silence. You looked down at your shoes.
"I know this is weird, but can I get your number?" Her eyes went wide, almost like she expected a 'no'.
"Yeah, sure!" You chirped.
You pulled a red pin out of your Kanken, and pulled out the napkin underneath your drink.
You spent time on each number, like you were trying to impress her with your terrible handwriting.

"Here is the Sunny Special! Oh! And the Coffee." The waiter interrupted as she set down the delicious meal, then placed two salt packets next to it. "Enjoy!" She sparked.

"That looks good," Billie said licking her lips.
"I'm sorry, I should probably get over to my booth,"
"Can you stay?" You asked, instantly regretting it. She smiled really big.
"Sure! Let me tell them first," She walked to her friends spreading the news.

"I'm back," she smiled. You smiled back.
"So, how long have you known them," you gestured to her friends. "Well the girl in the brown, Amandila. I've known her since 5th grade," She looked towards the booth. "And the girl in the black, Lana. She's known me since," she looked down thinking. "2nd grade." You gave her a shocked look. 2nd grade. Damn.

Ali, the waiter, walked over to Lana and Amandila, handing them both a plate of food. She held Billie's plate in her other hand. "Where'd the other one go?" She joked. "Right here," Billie answered. The waiter set down her food, gave her a quick smile, then walked into the kitchen.

                            11:08 a.m.
     Saturday morning, chatting with
                    Billie, at Sunny's

After a few minutes of chatting, the clock struck 11:08, you decided you had to go. Your shift at Motown, a record store, started at 11:30.

"Oh, sorry. I actually have to go. I have work."
You said, clearly disappointed. "Oh that's okay. Where do you work?"
"At Motown, it's a record store a few blocks from here. "Oh, cool maybe I could stop by one day." She said taking another bite of her food. "That'd be fun," you smiled.

You said a quick 'goodbye', then headed home, they had a pretty strict dress code, and you didn't want to borrow clothes from Cassey, although she doesn't mind. She's been your best friend since elementary school. Speaking of the devil...

Cass💖: hey

You pushed your backpack to your front, so you could slip your phone in. "God I hate work," you mumbled under your breath.

  Saturday morning, In your bedroom

You snatched a white, silky, button up shirt, paired with simple green shorts. Green and white are the signature colors, so everyone had to wear them.

the outfit:

You did a few ' finishing touches' in the bathroom then ran down stairs, to get your black Kanken that still had your phone in it
