"Bella, what's wrong? Your eyes are blood shot." Josh said as he walked closer to me.
I wasn't even sure if I could open my mouth without letting a cry come out. My lip quivered in response.
"Bella." Josh said stepping one step closer.
Within seconds I was bawling again. Josh was suddenly in my bed and I was crying into his chest. The smell of his hoodie went through me, almost calming me down.
I took many deep breaths before removing my face from his chest.
I opened my mouth to say something but Josh cut me off.
"You don't have to say anything. Just try to get some sleep." He said softly.
I nodded my head. "Thanks"
I rolled over to face my wall, and he slid down in the bed further. I wasn't expecting him to stay, but right now, I don't even care. I'm glad somebody is here with me, even if it is him.
His hand suddenly moved to my shoulder, slowly rubbing his fingers around in circles.I closed my eyes, and soon enough, I was sound asleep.

I woke up to my alarm beeping loudly. I lifted my head off Josh's arm and quickly turned it off. He sighed and his eyes fluttered. I sat up and waited for him to fully wake up. My eyes were stinging from crying and rubbing my eyes so much last night.
"Good morning" I said as Josh's eyes met mine. He blinked a couple time before rubbing them.
"Good morning. How're you doing?" He asked sitting up. I couldn't help but notice his shirt was now off. He must've taken it off during the night.
"Erm, alright I guess. I have to get ready to go to the hospital though." I replied, now looking at his eyes again.
"I could give you a ride if you want. I can take a car this time. He chuckled.
"You should go to school." I giggled. He gave me smirk, with a raised eyebrow.
"You know school isn't my biggest concern." He chuckled once again.
I thought about what happened yesterday. Why is he being so confusing? One minute he's sweet and caring, and the next it's like I don't even exist.
"Bella, can we talk about what happened yesterday." Josh said after a couple long seconds of silence. He must have known why I was hesitating.
I stood up from the bed and shook my head. "No Josh, it's alright, you-"
"No Bella, it's not alright." He said grabbing my wrist lightly. "What I did was not right."
"Well, why did you do it?" I asked folding my arms.
"It sounds bad, mostly because it is, but its a popularity thing, and the guys were poking fun about how I brought you to school and stuff. I defended you once and they all started making fun, so I figured it was best to say nothing while they were around." He explained. I didn't really have an answer, so I looked down at my feet.
"But I don't want it to be that way Bella. I shouldn't be teased when I'm seen with you because you're truly a great person, and very attractive, I might add."
I couldn't help but smile, and blush a little. I looked up to his apologetic eyes.
"You can give me a ride." I smiled. His face softened and he gave me a smile.
"I'm going to get dressed. Then I can make some breakfast if you want?" I suggested.
"I'm gonna run home and get changed, we can stop somewhere for breakfast along the way" He smiled and jogged out of the room before I could say no.
