I sat in the hospital bed silently crying as I held my baby. I just fed her so she's asleep right now. My mom came over and took her from me. She laid her in the baby bed next to me. I quickly wiped my tears.
"You okay?"My mom asked me.
"Yeah, I'm wonderful."I said giving her a small smile.
"Man, I'm tired."Amoura said yawning.
"You definitely not as tired as me."I said laying down.
"You should get some sleep because I'm sure everybody is going to want to see you and the baby tomorrow."Momma said to me.
"Technically, it's later since it's already morning."Amoura said to her.
"Who is everybody?"I asked her.
"Chris, your auntie, your cousins, Princess, Brittany, and probably your other friends."She said to me.
"That's too many people. Everybody should just stay home so I can spend time with little mama by myself."I said pulling the cover over me.
"Selfish already."Amoura said laughing.
"I just gave birth to her 5 hours ago and all she been doing is sleeping. So yes all I wanna do spend time with her by myself."I said sitting up.
"Girl, go to sleep."Momma said sitting down on the couch.
I smacked my lips before laying back down. I fixed my pillow and then closed my eyes. Just as I was falling asleep, little mama started crying. I got up and grabbed her. Then I laid down with her in my arms.
• 10 hours later ~ 11:37 AM •
"She's so cute!"I heard somebody say.
I opened my eyes and rubbed them. I sat up and looked around. Princess, Brittany, my cousins Zaria and Lele, and my auntie Rita was here. Zaria was holding little mama. Amoura was still sleep and my momma was gone.
"How y'all just gon come in here and take my baby from me?"I asked them.
"Girl, you got the rest of yo life to be with her, hush up."Zaria said waving me off.
"Okay and?"I said to her.
"Stop being so mean."Auntie Rita said as she hugged me.
"I want my baby."I said pouting.
"Here you go, crybaby."Zaria said handing me little mama.
