that's the main characters for this one-shot of course if you know Dear Evan Hansen and the My Hero Academia you can most likely figure out the rest of the character placements. also, I do know that Deku is not Izuku's middle name. And I have tweaked things from both MHA and DEH so please don't come after me.

Dear Deku Midoriya,

That's how I always start my letters. The letters my therapist makes me write to myself. They're supposed to help me build confidence. Deku isn't even my real name, its Izuku. People just call me Deku because it's my middle name. my Mom wanted to name me Deku but my Dad wanted to name me Izuku but clearly, my Dad won that fight, but my Dad isn't around anymore. my parents got a divorce when I was little and now I don't know where my Dad is. But anyways today is the first day of my senior year in high school. My mom always looks for the positive but I tend to not. She believes in horoscopes and all that stuff, she'll leave post-it notes around the house with horoscopes for the day on them such as "Today will be a great day and this is why..."

Over the summer I worked as an apprentice to a pro-hero and fell from a building and broke my arm. So I'm stuck in a cast.

As I continued my letter my mom came up.

"Deku are you still writing those letters to yourself?"

"Yeah, mom I just started one."

"Good, today you should go around and ask the others to sign your cast."

"Ok, mom,"

As I walked into the school I spotted Kacchan, my friend. Wait no not a friend a family friend.

"Hey Deku hows it feel to be the first person to break their arm studying? Give me the scene, All Might's Wikipedia is open -"

"Kacchan that's not what happened, I feel from a building while training,"

"Whatever nerd," Kacchan laughed.

"What the hell are you laughing at? My scar?" I turned around to see a classmate, Todoroki.

"No, not at all. Kacchan was making fun of me,"

"You probably think I'm a freak don't you? my scar, my quirk?" he shoved me and ran off.

During lunch I went to print off my letter. As I was walking into the printer to grab my letter I bumped into someone.

As I gathered myself off the floor I realised who it was that bumped into and what he was holding.

Todoroki. And my letter.

"What is this," he said holding my letter "why are you talking about my quirk?"

Oh yeah I wrote about his quirk in my letter. Im in trouble.

"What you think in a freak,"

"No-"

He stormed out of the lab. With my letter.

Well then I have to write a new letter now.

Todoroki or any of his siblings weren't at school for the next three days. And his sister never misses school.
