Our Way Out

This oneshot goes off of the Touya Todoroki - Dabi theory so please don't come after me im emotionally unstable. Also trigger warning- this contains fighting with guardians. If you every need someone to talk to im here for you.

"Im going out!" I said walking out of the kitchen, grabbed my book bag, and slid on my shoes.

I walked down over to the park down the road. It was a peaceful place, filled with cherry trees. It was my favorite place to just chill.

I sat down against the tree and pulled out a book.

I was so deep into my book I didn't even hear the rustling up above me untill there was someone on top of me.

I screeched and pushed the person off of me.

"What are you doing!" I said picking my book back up.

"Sorry, sorry geez," the boy said sitting up "I fell from the tree. The branch broke,"

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah im fine just a little bruised since you broke my fall. The question is are you ok?"

"Yeah,"

"Good, again my apologies."

"Why were in the tree to begin with?"

"I uhh-" he was cut off by someone yelling what must be his name.

"Oh shi-" he said beginning back up the tree in a panic.

"Wait hang on. Give me your hand, quick."

I grabbed his arm and activated my quirk making us both dissapear. "Its my quirk," I whispered

A man covered in flames emerged still shouting. I could feel the boy shaking out of fear.

"Dont let go," I stood up and started walking over to the man making myself visible, but making the boy invisible still.

"Excuse me sir, you can't shout or use fire type quirks in this part of the park. Its against the rules, you'll have to stop shouting and using your quirk, or you'll have to leave."

The man looked down at me angrily.

"Sir you'll have to leave." He turned around and stormed out.

After a bit I waited for him to leave to make the boy visible again.

"Who was that?" I asked

"That's my Dad,"

"Im sorry but he's scary."

"Your telling me,"

"Wait what's your name?"

"Touya Todoroki,"

"Im [Y/N] [L/N], nice to meet you."

"Thank you so much for the help I wish I could repay you but I dont have anything I could do,"

"Oh no you don't have to, when someone literally falls from the sky onto me quaking with fear what else am I supposed to do?" I laughed

"Oh no, Im late!" I said noticing the time on my watch.

"Im so sorry! I wish I could stay and talk but Im supposed to be somewhere!" I picked up my things and began to speed walk back to my house.

"Hey mom!" I waved into the kitchen.

"Your late," my mom said sitting at the table.

"I ran into a friend on the way home, sorry," I said sitting across the table from her and began to eat.
