Leona's eyes had grown dull from her original brown eyes, and had dark circles underneath them from the Lack of sleep she had watching over Jonah. Jonah hadn't woken for 3 days, and it's been 7 days since then beginning of the outbreak. It had already been said that there was only a small percentage of the population still lasting from the supposed end of the world. Leona had her hair cut short and it wasn't the best done either, for it was in more of a Pixie haircut. She taught herself to throw knives and more about medicine.
All the necessary things for survival. She had cried countless nights until suddenly the tears stopped. She lost hope of finding her father but then, at last, she decided once Jonah had awoken she and him would leave the cellar they have called safe. A quiet mumble was heard from behind her and her brown eyes snapped over to see the Boy's eyes beginning to open. She immediately rushed over, grasping his hand in her own. "Jonah..!" She whispered, hoping he would notice her. He stared at her for a moment before blinking and lifting his free hand to his eyes and rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "L..Leona..?" His voice mumbled and she let a small smile show on her lips. "Jonah, you've missed a lot. Your wound is fully healed and the rest I will tell you later when you are ready." She said, helping him sit up. "Okay.. I heard briefly that the world is ending but... that's been said before, right?" He said tilting his head. "Jonah, I do not know. I honestly think this may be the end" Her eyes closed as she frowned at the thought until she felt a hand on her cheek. "Leo, look.. it's going to be okay. We'll both make it out of this... I Promise"
