Ears and Tail

Gumball's P.O.V

I did not have a good morning. First I barely got any sleep, second I was woken up by Darwin and Anais pranking me which caused my ears to lower and tail to raise. They both laughed "Omg! That's amazing, you got so scared and did you see your ears and tail?" I was annoyed but still a bit jumpy from that.

"Hahaha. Very funny, we'll see whose the one laughing later. Be prepared." I threatened. "Oh, you wanna start a war? Fine, we can recruit some people from school to help but we have to get people to see how your ears and tail are." Oh no...

%%Later When They're At School%%

We just got to school when Darwin and Anais went over to me and Darwin's classmates. They were talking about something bit I couldn't hear what so my ears started twitching and my tail swishes  from side to side.

Anais's P.O.V

Me and Darwin went over to his and Gumball's classmates. "Hey, so earlier me and Anais decided to prank Gumball to wake him up so then when we did wake him up he got so scared!" Darwin started laughing not being able to finish the sentence I decided to take over. "His ears went down and his fail went up, it was hilarious." I then started snickering.

We all looked back at Gumball to see his ears twitching and his tail swishing back and forth. "See, I told you. He's even doing it now." When he realized we were staring at what his ears and tail were doing he lowered both and looked away. "Hmmm do you think his ears and tail show his emotions more than him doing it himself?" Penny murmured to herself.

"Could be. Hey, who wants to see what kinds of reactions we can get out of him just by his ears and tail?" Darwin asked. There were cheers and applauds of yes from his classmates. Then the plan was set into motion doing all we can to get a reaction out of him.

====With Gumball====

Gumball's P.O.V

I decided to leave since they were all acting weird and staring at me bit of course just when I started walking I saw Sarah there just staring at me and my ears and tail. I was a bit weirded out so I put my ears back and wrapped my tail around my arm.

It looked like she had accomplished something since she looked excited(?) for a second and then left. Ok...weird. I continued walking down the hall and nothing happened so I let my guard down only to get jump scared again so, of course my ears and tail reacted by going down (ears) and going up (tail).

"What the heck can you guys stop doing that?!" I yelled. I heard numerous sorry's from who knows where and multiple feet walking away.

🍱🍱🍱Time Skip To Lunch🍱🍱🍱

Ok so since the hallway incident nothing has happened and I'm pretty glad because who wants to have their ears and tail experimented on? However I still kept my ears laying flat on my head and my tail close to me the whole time. Alas not even that could work because somehow someone from my class rubbed against my tail causing me to start purring. The whole room went silent and everyone was staring at me.

"Ummm...welp I think that's my time to leave!" I was soo embarrassed, like come on! Who purrs in a cafeteria full of students?! I guess I hadn't realized that my tail was curled up and my ears were still down the whole time so I uncurled my tail and put my ears like this. One up and one to the side. "Hmmm, why would they be doing this? I mean there's nothing  to do with my ears and tail, all they do is move and show my emotions somewhat...wait! They don't know that! Of course they're trying to see what my ears and tail do!"

My ears shot up in realization and my tail started going up with my tail going up to with a slight curl. I turned back around to head to the cafeteria to talk to my class about why they felt the need to do this.

Darwin's P.O.V

We all stood there in shock thinking about what just happened, until someone started laughing. "Omg! I didn't think his fur was so soft and that his ears and tail were so sensitive!" It sounded like it came from Carrie. "Wait how did you even manage to touch him?" Anais asked. "Well...since he's a cat he can feel more and hear and smell more things than other people can." Carrie answered like it was the most obvious thing ever. "Why do you know this?" I asked.

"Well why you guys were messing with Gumball I was researching facts about cats or neko's as they call part cat part human people like your mom and brother. By the way why mess with him of you don't even know what those movements mean?" "Wait, they have a meaning? I thought it just happens." Penny said. Carrie sighed and said "Come with me."

As we were walking out the cafeteria the school bell rang signaling the end of school we were all confused for a second but then just ignored it cause this was Elmore, weird things happen all the time. Soon we made it to our house and all of us were confused. "Why are we at my house?" Anais asked. "Well we're going to ask your mom some questions about neko's and cats." Carrie responded.

I knocked on the door and Mrs. Mom opened the door clearly shocked to see the whole class their (except Gumball). "Why are you all here and where's Gumball?" She asked. We all looked around nervously trying to see if anyone was gonna answer before Carrie said, "Well these people decided to mess with Gumball to see what kind of reactions they could get out of him and his ears and tail. But none of them knew what those movements even meant so now we're here to ask you some questions."

She sighed and told us to come inside and once we were all inside she said "Carrie, since you seem to know about cats and neko's can you go and find Gumball for me?" Carrie said yes and went to go look for him leaving is with Mrs. Mom.
