Tamaran

Thunder roars and lightning cracks over a barren wasteland. Bodies fill just about every notable crevasse in the surrounding area. All signs of life seem to be completely void. As rain begins to fall, there seems to be a stir. Someone was still alive... With a pained grunt a woman partially lifts herself from a deep puddle of darkened water. Her eyes slowly scan her surroundings in horror before slowly making it to her feet. The palms of her hands were slowly brought close to her face. Dried blood was stained heavily throughout her scaled gloves and hand details. Her eyes slowly look upward until stopping at the horizon line, what caught her eyes was truly horrific. Large fumes of smoke rise to the sky in spires, their base being that of an alien civilization.

"No.." She mutters with dismay before taking off as fast as should could towards the city. Her pace was weakened from the various wounds that were inflicted upon her, the lack of stamina, and the amount of amor that lined certain parts of her body. With every step she tears off an article of armor in hopes of lightening her load. Voices slowly began to murmur about her mind while the distance between her and her destination shortened.

'I am here to claim what is truly mine...'

'Sister please don't do this! Father is on his death bed and Tamaran is in dire need of order. A war would do nothing but greaten the odds against us!'

'Do you think I care about that old fool? And those ingrates that serve beneath him? They stripped me of all what was mine! All because of false signs! My own kind inflicted a pain that will never cease to haunt me... If I must take the throne by force... Then I shall do so.'

'Komand'r please... All I want is for us to help save our home and our people from the brink! This action will only prove that you're more childish than we've assumed.'

'You don't even acknowledge what they've done... You're no sister of mine. Those people were never my own. And that man on the bed made a mistake that will only reap a horrid fate. Do you wish to join him... Koriand'r?'

Kori reaches the city border and begins to slow down. Her energy was completely exhausted at this point. The suit she wore wasn't in the best condition for this kind of thing. Its skin tight grip had caused nothing but chaffing. The armor torn off took with it most of her sleeves and pant leggings, leaving her in a hazardous state if she were to partake in combat. Which she knew that she would. The large beautiful towers had large chunks removed from them, small fires were blanketing the streets, and the bodies oc the battle field seemed to not be the last. Kori halts at the bottom of a large set of stairs that led high up to the Throne's gates. She holds her position with a hung head. Her pink locks hang low, covering most of her view.

"KOMAND'R!" She shouts with a pained inflection. The pain of her body went hand in hand with the internal pain of this conflict. All though things haven't ever really been pleasant with Komand'r, she was still family to Kori. The only family she feels within reach... The others who she counted as family were worlds away. She waits for minutes before seeing that no one was coming. With a limp in her step, Kori began to ascend the castle steps until reached the sealed gate. She grasps ahold of the bars and tries to force them open, but to her dismay the wounds were to staggering. She couldn't use her super strength... So instead she decided to use a more notable approach.

A green glow radiates from her eyes while she stepped back to the edge of the ledge. Her hands slowly curl into fists before being raised before her. The determined glare she dawned never wavered as she proceeded to launch forward a barrage of star bolts, completely obliterating the tall golden gate. She steps forward past the melting mess before making her way in through the front doors.
