Tyson had believed that Uni was sleeping.

He remembered hearing the man they called, 'Director' say of his sister, "She's upset and confused, very confused. Perhaps, the spa then food and sleep. Put her to sleep for the rest of the day. I'm going in a diving orb to be there when they find the body."

Believing he had a few hours to wait yet, at least until whatever drug they gave her wore off, Tyson moved back into the empty room. Again cloaking an empty disc he inserted, he hacked into the mainframe computer and downloaded as much as the disc could hold. Inserting another disc, he did the same. Sure that he had chosen all the files relevant to the Barassic, he put the two discs into a special pouch in a pocket in his waterproof jacket.

Not sure what he could do to 'kill time' he knew he wouldn't sleep. Perhaps he could learn something by moving around this massive barge-like vessel. He knew that his father had a floating lab, perhaps more than one, but this was the first he had been in such a vessel. There were other laboratories his father worked in, which he had been in, all land-based.

A laboratory like this, with the technology they had invented here, would have devices that intercepted any messages ingoing or outgoing from the upper masts. His father had told him that their off-shore laboratories had these. No one working onboard could send out any information, or receive any, without the knowledge of the radar-room. If only he could find it and shut it down.

Yes, he thought, that would be a good way to spend an hour or two...

Turning on eight of the holograms of himself, he gave the command, 'random' and had them scatter around the Barassic at will, to move out of sight if seen and to disappear when no one was there so that searchers would waste time away from his location. He had another one walk ahead of him with the command to return to him if any human was in sight, giving a command to another to follow him and return to him if they sensed someone on his tracks.

Several times, he had to cloak himself and move into a corner so no one would bump into him; another time, he cloaked and stepped through an open door, only to find it full of people. They poured over a screen showing someone swimming in the water outside the Barassic.

"Is it that boy?"

"Tyson is his name," Gillian said. "What?" She moved closer to the screen. "Bring that swimmer up closer, Derik."

"It's a girl, look at her hair, floating hair..." the controller at the screen said, magnifying her so that her face filled the screen.

"It's Eunice!" Gillian turned on her heal and moved out of the open door. Just as quickly, she rushed back, calling, "That boy, her brother, he's out here, now in the corridor..." Drawing her weapon, she stepped out into the corridor, calling, "Go after him, he's heading towards the steps, that way. I'll go to the spa and see where Eunice's minder is at."

"Hurry! Our Director will be furious if either of them gets away!" Derik called.

Tyson, remaining cloaked, followed Gillian to the spa room. She entered it cautiously, pushing the door open, pointing her weapon around the door, swinging her hands both ways.

"Don't! It's me, Christine," the nurse-aid said, backing away.

Stepping into the chamber and looking around briefly, Gillian demanded, "What happened here? How can it be that the girl I left in your charge is out there in the ocean, wearing a towel-wrap?"

The aid broke into sobs as she tried to explain, "She's a demon! She tricked me!" Dropping to her knees, she cried, "I almost drowned... I did drown... I shouldn't be here..."

"Come and sit down, Christine. Pull yourself together."

"I want to get dried and change, and, and lie down."
