Maikeru and his Companions! The Adventure Starts

Part 4: To protect the ones I love...

Later that same day

I was sitting on a bench at the park with Maikeru alone waiting for our friends to come back. I blushed as I stared at Maikeru watched the kids play and have fun. He said that it's ashame how things are turning out and sighed. I woke up from my daydream and nodded. I held his hand shaking and watched the kids play as well. I felt happy as he held my hand. I could sense his heart and feelings from how warm his hand was. I felt kinda sad too. Not only for the kids, but for Maikeru as well. His mom was all he had left and now he has to work even harder to protect the ones he loves. I wanted to help him too so I promised myself I would never leave his side. The others came back with boxed lunches and soda. We all sat and ate rice, beef and broccoli, shrimp stir fry and drunk our favorite pop: Orange crush. After eating, we all talked about how we would deal with the demons. I looked around and asked "Where's Jeirin"? We all looked worried as Maikeru got a text from Jeirin saying to come to the city's square garden. We all rushed there to check on him. When we got there, we spotted a boy dressed up as a hero. Jeirin waved to us and walked towards us. He explained how he found this secret room and how he became Jackor. Some of us looked amazed. Others kinda disappointed in the name "Jackor". But I was happy. Everyone was finding their own way to save the city. We all went home soon after finding Jeirin. I sat in my room with my sister watching TV. She was watching her cartoons as usual and I began my drawing. I went to my art room and sat down painting. I used that special ink my dad told me to use when I turned 18 and since today was my birthday, I decided to try out the ink he left me before he passed away. I painted a simple flower and as soon as I finished, it became real. I held it and felt surprised. I never knew about ink like this and I was happy to know my dad left me a gift this special.

Evening

Me and my friends met outside of the park where we encountered the horde of monsters. Jackor easily defeated the grunts with ElecMan's help and Monikū defeated some with her level 3 destroyer wave. Toriano and Maikeru worked together to defeat two peons and all that was left was the giant monster. It repelled all of our attacks. Not even the combined powers of Jackor, Monikū, Toriano and Maikeru could defeat it. It laughed and left us all weakened. Tillena, Āron, Rui, and I had no powers and we all trembled in fear. As the monster walked even closer, I looked away in fear. But Maikeru looked at me and gave me a gift. He said happy birthday and fainted. I opened the box and it had a pink and black hero uniform, cape and helmet included, paint, a scroll, and a paintbrush that said "I love you". I teared up and became angry.  I opened the scroll and used the ink my dad gave me and created an army of 1,000 liger beasts. They all charged at the monster and tackled it to the ground. Soon, they turned into a giant black hole that engulfed it and vanished. I looked up as the darkness disappeared. I help Maikeru up on his feet and the others stood thanks to my other friends. Maikeru smiled and gave me a hug and a kiss. He said happy birthday and held me tight. I blushed dark red and hugged and kissed him back. "I love you" I told him. He smiled and said "I will always love you Shawnielle". To protect the ones I love, I will use this power of my art to help my team
